Artifex continues the reviews at a steady pace and offers us this morning a video featuring the set 9525 Pre Vizsla's Mandalorian Fighter.

Almost everything has been said about this set, and I'm almost ashamed of it but over time, I almost start to like it a little more with each review.

Not that the ship is transcendent, but it is functional, playable and will please young fans of the animated series The Clone Wars. On the minifig side, it's all good with a very convincing Pre Vizsla. As the Americans say with the expression "It grows in me ..."this set will eventually convince me that it is almost worth its price ... (currently available on amazon.de at a price of 39.99 €)

And it's amazon.de who releases information with the Special Edition version of the LEGO Lord of the Rings video game currently available for pre-order (release date: October 2012). We discover that Elrond's minifig will be delivered as a bonus in the collector's edition of the game, and it is indeed the same minifig as the one seen in the mini-game available on the official website of the range (see this article).

The minifig is successful, no doubt about it. It remains to be seen if this will also be available in a future set or if it will be necessary to go through Bricklink or eBay to get it separately.

This is not an info that will prevent you from sleeping, but since it is calm on the Star Wars front, we put our teeth into a bit of everything we find ...

His film is superbly staged, lots of action, smooth movements (as much as possible with this Stop-Motion editing app) and a tracking system for his iPhone worthy of the LEGOllywood studios .....

Nuju Metru (see these articles about him) went to the end of his project which aims to create a parallel range of sets inspired by the trilogy Lord of the Rings.

Here is the result of his work on the third part The Return of the King culminating in the recreation of the siege of Minas Tirith. It's beautiful, it's clean, it's designed as official sets with the right ratio of parts / minifigs / price / playability / etc ... We would gladly buy this type of set and we hope that LEGO lags behind. other on the flickr gallery of this gentleman to catch some good ideas ...

I probably get a little carried away, but when I see what LEGO has presented us with Bag End at the last San Diego Comic Con, first set of the range The Hobbit, I can't help but think that the manufacturer takes the work of the fans on this line and is inspired by it to come up with something attractive, well finished and original.

The future will tell us if LEGO keeps an eye on the most interesting MOCs on offer lately, and if collectors will be able to afford sets that really meet their expectations and requirements ...
