As announced in the Comic Con festivities program by LEGO, the first set of the LEGO The Hobbit range is unveiled on the facebook page from the manufacturer.
It is undeniably very successful, well in the spirit of what many MOCeurs are offering on this type of topic currently. Suddenly, we appreciate the level of detail and the ingenious use of certain parts. After that, of course, you have to love green ...
We continue with the exclusive San Diego Comic Con minifigs. So here's Shazam and Venom revealed a few moments ago on CNN website.
Well, Venom is not that successful. I prefer Christo's custom. Shazam, blah, this character doesn't attract me more than that, I don't really know him that well in the DC Universe.
I put below the photo I took of my custom Christo for comparison.
(Thanks to Derek and Eric for their emails)
A list of sets for the range LEGO The Hobbit is already listed on a German online sales site (spielwaren-kontor24.de) and even if we can still doubt the reality of the thing, we can legitimately think that we are getting closer to what will be the first wave of sets scheduled for December 2012. We therefore find:
79000 - Mystery of the Ring
79001 - Fleeing from the Mirkwood Spiders
79002 - Attack of the Wargs
79003 - Bag End
79004 - Barrel Escape
79010 - Cave of the Orc King
Little or no details on the content of these sets for the moment, except that it is probably the set 79003 Bag End which will be unveiled today at Comic Con in San Diego ....
There is something for all the fans at this San Diego Comic Con 2012, and after the exclusive minifigs from the LEGO Super Heroes range, here is the exclusive LEGO Star Wars: Darth Maul's Mini Sith Infiltrator set (84 pieces) presented in pictures by FBTB.
On the menu, the minifig of Darth Maul in The Clone Wars version seen in the polybag 6005188 accompanied by a rather nice ship / speeder, all served in an ultra-collector's tin can .... It is also the bag in question that is delivered as is in the box.
The series is limited to 1000 copies, 200 of which are sold each day during Comic Con at a price of $ 40 with a limit of two copies per customer.
More images of this mini-set on the FBTB flickr gallery.
LEGO announced it in his press release relating to the events that will take place during San Diego Comic Con 2012: Visitors will be able to reconstruct Bilbo Baggins' minfig via a treasure hunt between the stands aided by a map of Middle-earth which will allow them to locate the different parts to be assembled .
Here is this minifig in pictures (Photos published by FBTB). I can already hear you ruminating, and I confirm that you will have to manage to find the minifigure accompanied by the card in question at a reasonable price if you are a compulsive collector ...
