Once again, the little world of LEGO is racing for not much: The image above, uploaded by Collider and presented by some as exclusive / unpublished has served in recent days to fuel all the rumors. I have received so many emails about this, that I think it is useful to clarify a few things.
This capture is not unprecedented and even less exclusive, the scene is present in the trailer for The LEGO Batman Movie presented at the last San Diego Comic Con (below). There is also absolutely no certainty that all of the vehicles present end up in sets based on the film.
For information, some of these vehicles were designed by Brent Waller, Australian MOCeur known in particular for his LEGO Ideas project of the Ecto-1 from the movie Ghosbutsters, which became a set marketed under the reference 21108 Ghostbusters.
He confirms that the production has ordered many virtual creations from him to integrate them into The LEGO Batman Movie but adds that he has no idea what will actually be retained in the final version of the film.
To know which of these vehicles will eventually end up on the shelves of toy stores, we will have to wait a little longer ...
Clever Modulars fans, LEGO launches via its Rebrick platform a very well endowed competition which will perhaps allow them to win all the sets listed below:
The principle is simple: You just need to build (with real rooms, or under LDD) a 16x16 thumbnail representing a room that you would like to add to one of the existing buildings in the Creator Expert range "Modulars". You have until November 29 to participate. There will be only one winner.
If you plan to participate, read very carefully the rule and get ready to challenge yourself against the crate of LEGO-based creation. The endowment is exceptional and the best designers will try to win the day.
The advice of the day: Do it mainly for fun, the level will be very high.
Since the only set based on the film, the reference 76060 Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum (36.99 €), has already been on the market for a long time, let's pretend that the above poster uploaded by LEGO on the occasion of the film's release was an event that deserves to be mentioned.
I repeat this every time the manufacturer uploads a LEGO-style interpretation of a movie poster, I would love to see more of these posters printed on nice paper and given to fans.
If you hear of any promotional operation where LEGO is distributing this poster, please mention it in the comments. Otherwise, manage to have it printed from the file available on my flickr gallery.
Remember: in January, the publisher Muttpop launched here a call for goodwill to bring together the different dinosaur minifigures produced by LEGO for the realization of a new book that will combine LEGO minifigures, pretty photos and serious and documented editorial content provided by a paleontologist from the National Museum of Natural History. The call had been heard and the figures are now in the spotlight ofAurelien Mathieu aka shobrick.
The release of the book, which will be a 100% original production and not a simple French-speaking adaptation of an existing work, is scheduled for the end of 2017 under the label Over The Pop (Glénat).
Just to be patient while waiting to learn more about the content of the book, here are two photos provided by the publisher which will give you a more precise idea of the work in progress, with an example of staging below and below. above the final image that will be used in this book.
The four thematic boxes sold or offered exclusively by Toys R Us : musicians (5004421), warriors (5004422), athletes (5004423) and police / thieves (5004424) will be available in France from October 26.

In these boxes, nothing new or exclusive that deserves to spend more than 5 € to get them anyway. But you'll have to spend $ 200 at Toys R Us in the next four weeks to get the full series.
