Okay, those who follow me on Facebook already know it: I decided to put into play 3 bags of the exclusive TC-14 minifigure. The raffle draw will take place among fans on the Hoth Bricks page as of 30/04/2012.
As you can imagine, if I had had 400 on hand, I would have offered one to each of you, loyal readers. But that's not the case in this cruel world and I'm going to have to bring in luck through the left hand of my 3 year old son and the right hand of my other 7 year old son ...
Regarding the big question ... These bags do not come from LEGO, or from any generous sponsor ... I have some nice contacts which enabled me to obtain these 3 bags for you. It's not a revolution, but at the moment we still don't know if the promo will take place with us (I still think so) and I thought to myself that you would appreciate being able to get this minifigure without spending a lot of money. money on the LEGO Shop, coerced and forced.
So don't wait any longer, become a fan of the Hoth Bricks page, and participate in this raffle. And I repeat, I would have liked to have more, but it was mission impossible.
I had already seen this email go through last week, but I have just received it again, no doubt to be sure not to miss the exceptional offer that LEGO is currently offering us.
Judge for yourself: All you have to do is spend the modest sum of 85 € on the LEGO site to see you receive this magnificent red multifunctional bag that will accompany you on a daily basis (shopping, garbage cans, etc ...)
I am speechless in the face of so much generosity towards us, customers forgotten by marketing plans and excluded from the aggressive and ambitious commercial policy of the manufacturer.
With this reusable and above all FREE bag, we will have the feeling of having been pampered and rewarded, no doubt about it ...
So, don't wait any longer, go to the LEGO site to spend your money, the gift awaits you. As for me, I pass on this one, I have already received the same one in green offered by Here ....
Not content to propose an exclusive Lex Luthor minifigure for any pre-order of a LEGO Batman 2 game, the EB Games merchant also offers a second bonus in the form of a pack of 5 characters (super villains in this case) to activate in the game.
On the menu, therefore, Bizzaro, Captain Cold, Black Adam, Black Manta and Gorilla Grodd. You're gonna tell me: We don't care, LEGO will never produce these minifigs. And you're right....
For information EB GamesIs in Australia, in New Zealand et in Canada. In Germany, in Spain, in Great Britain, in Ireland et Italy this is Gamestop. And for France, it is micromania.fr...
Don't make me say what I didn't write. But it would be worth it to follow these other brands to see if they also offer these two exclusive offers ...
Another slightly crappy title, I know .... But when it comes to exposing a Millennium Falcon UCS (10179), the problem is huge (!). In addition to the obviously necessary space, it is also necessary to find a position which allows to admire at best the innumerable details of this set which has become legendary.
etcknight had already offered to fix it to the wall (see this article) using a TV support, and BobBongo1895 now brings up an idea that is probably less acrobatic but which allows you to orient the machine as well as possible: A support specially designed to keep the Millennium Falcon at about 45 ° d tilt. A good idea that allows you to display the thing on a shelf placed high up while retaining the possibility of admiring it.
For the record, BobBongo1895 had undertaken to rebuild a Millennium Falcon by purchasing all the parts on BrickLink (see the dedicated topic). what many members of the Brickpirate forum have also done (see this dedicated topic).
Nice 2x4 initiative which decided to put two X-Wings of its own in the spotlight with this very well designed chainring which really highlights them. I love this type of surface clad in details, devious accessories and with a cleverly used play of colors.
As said a few months ago on this blog, which had also earned me the wrath of a few by email, I'm not a fan of these representations of the X-Wing, but their intelligent staging really changes the perception that we can have of these machines by putting them in a very rewarding context.
A beautiful exhibition object with a piece of Death Star and two rebel pilots in action ... The presentation is really the key ....
