Good news for fans of the Architecture range, the set skyline staging Las Vegas will finally be marketed soon under a new reference (21047) as shown in the visual above taken from the official LEGO catalog in Korean version.
The initial set bearing the reference 21038 had been temporarily withdrawn from the LEGO assortment even before its sale because the skyline planned included the Mandalay Bay hotel, scene of a tragic news item on October 1, 2017 with a sniper on the 32nd floor, 58 dead and more than 850 wounded.
The hotel in question is therefore replaced by the Bellagio in the new version of the set which now bears the reference 21047.
The other elements of the set, The Luxor, the Stratosphere Tower, the Encore hotel, the iconic sign at the entrance to the city and the micro-representation of the Freemont Street Experience will be kept.
Below is the initial version of the set:
The official visuals for the next two sets of the LEGO Architecture range are now available via the Alternate FR brand: The reference 21041 Great Wall of China (550 pieces) is displayed at the price of 53.90 € and the reference 21042 Statue of Liberty (1685 pieces) is displayed at 107.90 €.
It will be without me for the "modular" micro wall of China of which it will take several copies to get something convincing (see the fifth visual of the gallery below), but the Statue of Liberty will probably join my collection.
As some of you point out in the comments or informed me by email, the FNAC offer to obtain the 2nd LEGO set at -50% has been extended to nearly 400 references of all ranges. LEGO (except Architecture and Creator Expert) and is no longer limited to a meager selection of boxes.
This offer also applies to some new products launched in April.
The selection of products affected by the offer can now be found at this address.
Many of you are wondering where the LEGO Architecture set has gone 21038 Las Vegas.
Initially planned to be marketed at the start of the year, this set was finally temporarily withdrawn from the LEGO assortment because the skyline original staged the Mandalay Bay hotel, the scene of a tragic news item on October 1, 2017 with a sniper on the 32nd floor, 58 dead and more than 850 injured.
LEGO is therefore currently working on modifying this skyline in order to integrate another emblematic building of Las Vegas. Bellagio, Caesar Palace, Excalibur, there is no shortage of hotels ...
The other elements of the set, The Luxor, the Stratosphere Tower, the Encore hotel, the iconic sign at the entrance to the city and the micro-representation of the Freemont Street Experience will likely be kept.
The modified set will finally be marketed next September (It can be ordered at amazon without a specific delivery date ...).
Two new sets will join the LEGO Architecture range in 2018 with the Statue of Liberty on one side (ref. LEGO 21042 Statue of Liberty - Public price 99.99 €) and on the other the Great Wall of China (ref. LEGO 21041 Great Wall of China - Public price 49.99 €).
No visuals of these two new references for the moment. Let your imagination work ...

Update : I can at least confirm (from a reliable source) the number of pieces in each set: 1685 pieces for the 21042 Statue of Liberty set and 551 pieces for the 21041 Great Wall of China set.
