Today we were treated to two (very) preliminary images of two of the Star Wars novelties of late 2013 / early 2014: The Battle Pack 75036 Utapau Troopers and the set 75045 AV-7 Anti-Vehicle (Cannon?).
Obviously, in view of these two visuals (Click on the links above), it is difficult to guess what the minifigs delivered in these boxes will look like: They are replaced by very neutral models on these provisional images.
The Battle Pack 75036 will come with 2 x 212th Battalion Clone Troopers and 2 x Airborne Clone Troopers. The set 75045 will be delivered with the minifigs of Plo koon (New version), Commander Wolffe (New version), A new Wolf Pack Clone Trooper and Droid Destroyer.
Only the presence of the new blasters in the Battle Pack 75036 seems to be confirmed: These new weapons have a particularity: They are capable of firing small projectiles in the form of Round Plates 1x1 using an ejection mechanism located on the top of the barrel and operable with the fingertip.
They will a priori also be present in the other two Battle Packs of the first LEGO Star Wars 2014 wave: 75034 Death Star Troopers and 75035 Kashyyyk Troopers.
For the rest, I let you judge the relevance of these preliminary images.
