The Batcave by BeKindRewind

The Batcave is the emblematic place of the Batman saga: It concentrates most of the universe of the vigilante of Gotham City in a secret underground space and equipped with the most modern technologies.

BeKindRewind presents us his version of this place and the result is up to what we can expect from an MOC on which he spent several years (intermittently, I can assure you).

This MOC is largely inspired by the original Batcave from the set released in 2006: 7783 The Batcave: The Penguin and Mr. Freeze's Invasion which many AFOLs consider much better than the set 6860 The Batcave released a few days ago.

BeKindRewind added its very personal touch to this creation with a host of details such as the spiral staircase at the entrance, the medical area, the trophy room or the safe ... Not to mention the secret door that allows the Batmobile to exit discreetly by the side of the rocky hill.

To discover this Batcave from every angle, go to BeKindRewind's Brickshelf gallery.

Captain America & Red Skull Bike Chase by CAB & Tiler

You already know these two custom minifigs: They are the ones that you presented here (Captain America) et there (Red Skull), produced by Christo (CAB).

Calin stages them here with two superb motorcycles in a frantic chase. The Red Skull motorcycle is fitted with custom chrome parts and the two machines are the result of an ingenious assembly using a few original parts judiciously used.

The photo itself is a model of its kind, the lighting and the staging are simply breathtaking.

For other views of these machines and minifigs, go to CAB & Tiler's flickr gallery.

The Avengers comic by Mike Napolitan

I have you already talked about Mike Napolitan and its site The Legion of Minifigs on this blog: his work on the world of superheroes is well worth a look. This professional web designer regularly produces splendid 3D visuals of minifigs of super heroes or from the Star Wars universe. He also reproduces original comic book covers like the 1964 one above and is currently embarking on 3D animation with Maya to bring his designs to life.

You can also see below one of his essays featuring Magneto surrounded by levitating pieces.

So put its site in your favorites, beautiful creations should see the light of day soon ...

Batwing Landing Platform by Hans Dendauw

The photo is dark, it's not your screen, nor an error ...

If you want to know what is hiding in the half-light of the Batcave alongside Batman, click on the image ...

For the others, it is a really successful MOC and creates a special atmosphere. The SNOT platform is successful, the rocky aspect is very well rendered. The Batwing finds its place there and the whole works wonderfully with Batman sitting in front of his control console.

To see in the flickr gallery by Hans Dendauw alias Tigmon74 which also presents very nice MOCs on a wide variety of themes.

White Tumbler by steelwoolghandi

Come on, it's not the best Tumbler MOC we've seen, but it's white ... and just for that, I'm posting it to you here.

We forget the white Batman which is not necessarily the best taste, and we focus on this Tumbler ready to face Mr. Freeze with his Snow camouflage and his blue canopies. Space Classic which give it a very convincing glacial appearance.

I also secretly hope that LEGO will release us a camouflaged Tumbler as seen in the photos from the filming The Dark Knight Rises...

To see more and discover in particular the interior of this Tumbler, go to steelwoolghandi's flickr gallery.
