Leia Organa as Boushh by Omar Ovalle

This little MOC ofOmar Ovalle comes in handy in this period of leaks concerning the sets of the second wave Star Wars 2012.

Small parenthesis for all those who wonder who Boushh is: This is a Bounty Hunter, who died after many adventures that it would take too long to detail here, and whose equipment was used by Leia during several infiltration missions, particularly on Coruscant and in Jabba Palace.

Omar Ovalle has done here what LEGO can do best: put interesting minifigs with a piece of wall. We therefore find a custom minifig of Leia, Han Solo and its Carbonite version, and the famous wall, all offered with a nice box.

Omar Ovalle will agree with me, it's not its best MOC, but I find it interesting if you put it in perspective with what LEGO usually offers us. Personally, at 14.90 €, I would happily buy this mini set ...

Batman Returns by LEGOmaniac

End of the Eurobricks LEGO Batman Contest and Batman Returns de Legomaniac finished 3rd in category 1 behind the winner: The Dark Knight by Skrytsson and the 2nd: Joker makes a withdrawal by TooMuchCaffeine.

A well-deserved place for this technical and creative MOC which once again demonstrates that the work of the French MOCeurs is largely at the level of what can be seen on the most famous English-speaking blogs or sites.

So if you are a little creative, risk yourself in one of the many contests organized on the web. You will probably not always win, but you will have the opportunity to rub shoulders with the cream of the MOCeurs and benefit from the opinion of a whole community about your works. With a little patience and humility you will progress and you will be able to have the satisfaction of having been able to show your work to many AFOLs across the planet.

In the meantime, you can find out the full ranking of the competition on the dedicated topic at Eurobricks. Also come congratulate LEGOmaniac on the topic dedicated to its MOC at Brickpirate.

Zeto Vince Tumbler

ZetoVince recently introduced a Tumbler MOC (I told you about it here) really successful. Since then, this MOC has been emulated by many (see here the version of CAB & Tiler), who have tried to reproduce it, and even improve it on certain points.

In response to a growing demand for assembly instructions for this MOC, ZetoVince has offered on its Brickshlef gallery a series of files to reproduce this vehicle without too many problems.

I have compiled these files in pdf format, and I offer them for download directly on Brick Heroes: zetovince_tumbler.pdf (4.84 MB).

If you do not yet know this MOC, go to Zetovince's flickr gallery, to find out. I promise you that you will then want to assemble your own Tumbler following the instructions for this template ...

Anakin & Padme by TomSolo93
A little freshness and poetry with this pretty MOC from TomSolo93.

This scene is loosely inspired by a cut scene of the'Episode II: Attack Of The Clones in which Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala visit her parents on Naboo.

We find the peaceful atmosphere of Theed, capital of Naboo, with its quiet alleys with beige (Tan) walls where vegetation roams the walls. We will pass on the minifig representing Padme, difficult indeed to produce one currently, while waiting for a Queen Amidala in full dress promised in set 9499 from the Star Wars 2012 range.

To see more, visit TomSolo93's flickr gallery, a young MOCeur with a future.

Asajj Ventress Ginivex Starfighter by Rook

This spaceship piloted by Asajj Ventress and seen in particular in the 12th episode of season 3 of the animated series The Clone Wars has not been often reproduced by MOCeurs. I offered you on this blog Joel Baker's version at the beginning of 2011, and since nothing or not much, except the micro version of Vacherone (see this article).

Unlike Joel Baker's MOC, this one uses wings that are not made of parts. Rook used the sails of the boat from the set Pirates of the Caribbean 4195 Queen's Anne Revenge and even though the wings don't have the expected circular shape, this trick works pretty well.

The final rendering is faithful to the original model and the fenders can even fold up. What more ?
