At first glance this version of the Jedi Interceptor seems familiar to us. We were treated to several sets containing this vessel with its characteristic canopy and this in different colors (7256 Jedi Starfighter and Vulture Droid, 7283 Ultimate Space Battle, 7661 Jedi Starfighter with Hyperdrive Booster Ring, 9494 Anakin's Jedi Interceptor).

But the comparison ends there, the studless MOC of legorevolution keeps only the canopy and the deflectors on the wings. The cockpit is fully furnished and can accommodate a pilot without a problem and the retractable landing gear is a model of ingenuity.

But the revolution did not stop there: it declined this Starfighter in five versions in different colors. And to top it off, it offers the pictorial instructions for building this model.

There is the set tree 9489 - Endor Rebel Trooper & Imperial Trooper, some will be satisfied with it, and others like HohesC prefer to build a real Ewok hut with its platform perched on top of a tree in the forest of Endor.

The result is really interesting, the SNOT platform wonderfully reproduces the wooden floor and allows to exhibit many minifigs, and the slope en Trans Green do not shock me: they make a credible foliage on this scale.

For this first MOC of the year, Omar Ovalle offers us a beautiful creation with this very ingenious Dewback. The creature's head may be lacking in bulk, but overall the result is convincing.

This MOC is the first in a new series announced by Omar Ovalle on his flickr gallery and which will include in particular creations of the Action Figures... To be continued.

Outrider? This name may not mean anything to you, but you have surely heard it somewhere ... This ship, belonging to Dash Rendar, a smuggler, a sort of video-game version of Han Solo seen in video games Shadows of the Empire et Star Wars: X-Wing Alliance, is a much less well-known craft than the Millennium Falcon.

Made, like its cousin the Millennium Falcon, by the Corellian Engineering Corporation, this ship is a modified and heavily armed version of the YT-2400 Light Freighter.

Dash Rendar, who studied atImperial Academy with Han Solo still refused to officially join the rebellion but nevertheless participated in the Battle of Hoth alongside members of the Rogue squadron.

LEGO came up with an honest take on this Outrider as an alternative model of the set. 6211 Imperial Star Destroyer released in 2006 which also offered an alternative model of the T-16 Skyhopper. I also offer you the instructions for download in pdf format directly on Hoth Bricks for these two models, so you will avoid looking for them in the shallows of the internet if you want to assemble these ships with the parts of your ISD:

Nannan Zhang also offered a very successful version of this vessel with this model in Midi-Scale format designed from the parts of the set 7778 Mid-scale Millennium Falcon released in 2009, proof if any of the family link between the two devices ...

For the record, this ship makes a (very) brief appearance in theEpisode IV: A New Hope (Special Edition). We see him leave Mos Eisley, which nevertheless gives him a canonical value beyond his first appearances in the video games of the franchise.

LEGO having so far confined itself to the canonical Star Wars universe, with some more or less happy forays into the Extended Universe and now into the Star Wars The Old Republic video game, why not release this ship in the form of a System set? After all, we've had so many versions of the Millennium Falcon that this Outrider would be welcome ...

We continue with Omar ovalle who offers a mini-series of impulse sets with a minifigure, his weapon, and a piece of land to stage it.

We thus find a Snowtrooper, a Stormtrooper and a Scouttrooper, each in their environment and all equipped with a rocket launcher.  

Joli the packaging and an interesting format to build armies of minifigs, Omar Ovalle finally offers something here that could very well be marketed with real marketing logic ...

I say that 6.90 €, it can even sell ...
