5708498700 ecd43c0b50 bA little freshness in this world of dark MOCs and populated by threatening ships doesn't hurt .... BaronSat has just finalized its Mos Eisley diorama composed of several modules, each more original and detailed than the next.

Realism is not the ultimate goal of this playful and homogeneous diorama, you will understand that by looking at the photo.

Each module has an exemplary finish and alone constitutes an original scene teeming with humorous winks.
We thus find the "Junk Store"where Jawas and other traffickers of all kinds are found, the"Music Box"of which only the entrance is shown, the main room being in the basement, the"Communications Tower"with its antennas and its technician, the"Merchant House" with his GX-8 Water Vaporizer very successful, the bank with his bounty hunters waiting for the opening, and finally the market with its stalls and customers coming from all over the galaxy to do their shopping.

Finally, we find a landspeeder inspired by Luke's.

5581092779 bd238fb9b4 bVery often, a simple and well thought out MOC is sufficient on its own.
But sometimes we need a big fat, oversized and visually impressive diorama to satisfy our Star Wars and LEGO passions.
All LEGO Star Wars fans love classic gear like the Star Destroyer, the Executor or the Venator.

But it is when they are all gathered that we are speechless as with this staging called "LEGO Imperial Star Wars Fleet"by Aryo Gono, bringing together nearly fifty of the emblematic ships of the Star Wars universe.
If the scale of some machines is not necessarily respected to the millimeter and if some picky AFOLs have criticized the presence of the Venator in this scene for reasons of respect for the Star Wars chronology, the work accomplished by Aryo Gono is unanimous within the community.
The MOCeur itself admits that the design of the different mini or micro format craft could have been improved, but its main concern was to respect, as much as possible despite some compromises, a certain scale between the different ships.
In short, an epic scene, which you can admire from all angles on Aryo Gono's flickr gallery.
In addition, to learn more about his work and the different vessels present, go to its MOCpages space.

venator noon 13Well known for its mini format models, Legostein is launching its new project today.
Taking as reference the official set 8099 Midi-Scale Imperial Star Destroyer and considering that 1 stud represents 50 meters, it adapts its models to the midi format to create a coherent fleet that respects the original scale.
The ISD serving as a reference therefore has a length of 1600 meters, and Legostein offers 4 machines adapted to this scale: The Venator Attack Cruiser (Revenge of the Sith), theAcclamator Assault Ship (Attack of the Clones), theArquitens Light Cruiser (From the animated series Clone Wars) and the Munificent Sar Frigate (Revenge of the Sith).
You can admire these creations on each link above and download the instructions for each machine on the dedicated page with many photos.

Once again, Legostein gets creative and wows us with this scale fleet that all of a sudden makes the 8099 set much more interesting and easy to fit into a space diorama.
