Big change in the LEGO policy towards French AFOLs with a tightening of the conditions of access to AFOL Shopping Days, these one-off events that I have already told you about on the blog and which allow adults who love LEGOs to obtain a 15% discount on all products offered in the LEGO Stores. 

It is no longer enough to be a teenager or adult (16 years minimum), to like LEGOs and to agree to get up early to benefit from this privilege: You will now need to have a VIP card (Free registration in line on the Lego shop) and a sesame, in this case the sticker above, which can only be obtained via the LUG of which you are a member (This process has already been in effect in the USA since 2012). Access to the four AFOL Days planned in France in 2014 will therefore be reserved for holders of this sticker who will undoubtedly have to register with the managers of their LUG, indicating which LEGO Store they will want to go to on the day of the operation.

Note that there is no longer a specific time slot, you just have to go to the cash desk during the day in question and present your VIP card with the sticker provided by the LUG.

I forgot, it is already possible to get this sticker against a few euros, I have just been offered a handful by email (I politely refused) ... Knowing that a priori the only people who have access to this sticker in quantity are necessarily the representatives of a LUG in contact with the brand ...

And when I ask if by buying this sticker I will have access to AFOL Days, the first of the four events planned for this year will take place on February 1, I am told that yes and that the staff of the LEGO Store will probably not verify if I am on the list of LUG members authorized to benefit from the specific conditions (15% discount on public prices in LEGO Stores) valid that day. CQFD.

I have just received these two photos of the TC-4 minifig which is delivered in the Star Wars polybag bearing the LEGO reference 5002122 distributed by Toys R Us Hong Kong during its last promotional offer.

And the person who sent me the pictures above confirms that the real color of the minifigure is that of the photo (apart from flash effect). It is therefore not Dark Red as the visual presentation of the polybag suggested.

Same observation for the eyes: The lucky owner of the minifigure confirms that the eyes are white and are not yellow like on the bag (below).

In short, these aesthetic considerations aside, we still do not know if this polybag will be distributed to us one day. I hope to see it arrive on May 4th ...

Updating the Agents range released in 2008/2009? New concept oriented action / espionage? Want to trample the Playmobil flower beds including the series Top Agents et Top Agents 2.0 have been on the market since 2010 and are probably themselves inspired by LEGO Agents products?

If I believe the first descriptions of the 2014 sets published on Eurobricks, we find similar content to what LEGO offered in 2008/2009: An imposing truck of type Command Center, mechs, planes, etc ...

In terms of colors, black and Lime apparently popular on these new sets, two colors that are also found on some sets of the Top Agents 2.0 range at Playmobil.

Keep in mind, however, that the visuals that are described come from the retailer catalog and are therefore not the final versions of the sets that will be marketed:
