Finally an image of the 71006 The Simpsons House set!
It's via the forum Eurobricks where a user who knows a guy who works in the LEGO factory in Kladno (Czech Republic) posted the photo above (cropped and straightened by me) of the only set planned in the LEGO The Simpsons range for 2014 that we can finally get an idea of what this range will actually be.
2523 pieces, just that, and six minifigs: Bart Simpson, Homer Simpson, Marge Simpson, Maggie Simpson, Lisa Simpson and Ned Flanders.
The minifigs that we have seen so far for sale on eBay therefore came from this set.
First photos of the polybag containing the too little-known TC-4 protocol droid uploaded by Tsang Yiu Keung alias chiukeung on his flickr gallery.
I have gathered here the views of what interests us on each side of the bag: The minifig (entirely made in China).
You will find general views of the bag on the flickr gallery of the happy owner of this minifigure.
And for those who don't follow Springfieldbricks.com : The first image of the set 71006 The Simpsons House is available at this address.
While Americans are discovering that the new LEGO Star Wars products will not be available across the Atlantic until next March, the official LEGO site has been updated with these new sets which are already available in Europe. Some believe that LEGO has deliberately postponed the release of Star Wars boxes in the United States to put the package on the launch of the derivative range of The LEGO Movie which will hit theaters in February. LEGO therefore apparently has less ambition for the film in Europe ...
By taking a look at some of these sets, we discover in particular small video sequences which present in a few seconds the functionalities and the "playability potential" of each box. I quickly got bored of having to go watch them one by one, so I gathered all the sequences available in the video below, which gives us 5 minutes to learn all about the new Star Wars 2014 ...
They are missing some sets for which LEGO has not uploaded a video (75034 75046).
Buzz mondial obliges, the publisher Huginn & Muninn, specialist in the localization in French of works of all kinds, offers a French version of two works derived from the film The LEGO Movie: The Official Guide (English version edited by DK - 14.20 € - 64 pages) and The LEGO Movie: The Movie Album (English version edited by Scholastic - 6.60 € - 64 pages).
Here below is what to get an idea of the content of each of these books with these few pages in French. the two books are clearly aimed at different audiences, Film Album a priori targeting an audience younger than The Official Guide.
Both books are currently on pre-order with a release date set for February 14, 2014. No version with an exclusive minifigure in sight. The LEGO Movie (La Grande Aventure, in French) will be released in theaters on February 19, 2014.
It is thanks to someone who has the reseller catalog for the second semester that we were able to discover yesterday some preliminary visuals of the new lego star wars expected in mid-2014.
Here's another photo from one of the pages in this toy pro-only document confirming that the X-Men and Guardians of the Galaxy sets will be releasing this year. We see Magneto and Storm (obviously preliminary versions) and we can see a piece of the GotG franchise logo on the right page. On the complete image, we can see Wolverine on the right corner of the box and a piece of what could be the Blackbird at the top of the image.
No other information for the moment, the teasing is laborious and the images are distilled drop by drop by the person in possession of this catalog on his Statigram account...
Update 05/01: An online merchant (http://shop.kiddiwinks.co.za) reference 4 upcoming Marvel sets: 76022 for the X-Men franchise and 76019, 76020 and 76021 under the generic Marvel label.
Less exciting, after the 30300 The Batman Tumbler As seen on eBay, a new LEGO Super Heroes polybag with a bat-vehicle was referenced by Brickset: 30301 Bat Wing.
