Nothing to do with the LEGO news, or very far, but the trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is online and it's excellent!

The film, directed by Marc Webb, starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Jamie Foxx will be released in theaters on April 30, 2014.

No movie-based LEGO sets on the program, the three Spider-Man sets planned for 2014 are based on the Ultimate Spider-Man animated series (76014 Spider-trike vs. Electro, 76015 Dock Ock: Attack of the Truck et 76016 Rescue of the Spider-Heli).

NPD, an organization providing statistics in the toy world, unveils the top sales at the beginning of November and two LEGO sets make their way into the top 10 among Furby, Monster High, Storio 2 tablets and Playmobil: The Legends of Chima sets 70010 The Lion CHI Temple and Friends 41015 Dolphin Cruiser are sold by buckets which confirms the enthusiasm of the general public for these two ranges at the end of the year.

The numbers don't lie, and LEGO enthusiasts, myself included, should always keep in mind that their perception of the market is often skewed by their own highly subjective opinion of one line or another.

Kids love Chima and girls want Friends, the numbers are there to prove it.

The LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar (75023) is also present in this ranking, seasonality requires.

Suddenly, a question torments me: Are you going to offer yourself or someone from Friends or Chima for Christmas? Your children, if you have any, are they asking you for these licenses?

It's a fact, the quality of photos plays an important role in a first impression. A bad photo, blurry, badly lit, etc ... and that's the tragedy.

To give you a chance to change your mind or confirm your first impression about Homer Simpson and Ned Flanders minifigs, here are two sets of photos from one seller's eBay listings (Click here) who took the trouble to present these two characters from all angles.

I remain mixed on the sleeves of Homer's shirt, a seam or a dark line to delimit the sleeve would not have been too much. And, to quibble, the injection site on the back of Flanders' head is a bit messy ...

I have nothing better to offer you at the moment than this visual of the three minifigs from the next LEGO Marvel set. 76017 Captain America vs. Hydra : Red Skull, Captain America and a HYDRA agent.

Nice version of Captain America who joins the two existing minifigs of the characters.

Red Skull does not impress me, those who have the custom of Christo will understand me, and the HYDRA agent with his jumpsuit with a yellow H (and a small H on the belt buckle) is faithful to his model seen in many comics.

These three minifigs are also identical to the versions of the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game (Classic Captain America, Red Skull & HYDRA Agent).

The and 76017 Captain America vs. Hydra will include a military vehicle and a motorcycle for Captain America.

First images of the "minifigs" of Marge and Lisa Simpson, at least with regard to the head and the torso. For the rest, it seems that the eBay seller has replaced the legs provided by a generic version.
