Let's start from the beginning: The minifig and brick-based film: The LEGO Movie (La Grande Aventure LEGO, in French), will be released in February 2014 on screens around the world. We will then discover in this film directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller the story of Emmet, a type without history who finds himself drawn in spite of himself in incredible adventures during which he will have to face a terrible villain and save the world.

Obviously LEGO will decline a whole range of sets based on the film and has already put online an official website at this address with the film trailer (Accessible in VOSTFR in this article).

We already know the contents of one of the boxes of the first wave, the set 70808 Super Cycle Chase , presented at the last San Diego Comic Con (See this article).

Difficult to guess who is behind these names, translated from Dutch following the posting of these boxes on the site 2ttoys.nl. We will have to wait for the official visuals to get an idea of ​​the interest of this range, even if we already know that these sets will be based on many different environments: City, Castle, Western, Space, etc ...

I know that many of you like this range, even if you don't always say so openly ;-), so I take this opportunity to post here this new visual of the LEGO Friends boxes planned for 2014.

Here we are: Here are the first two minifigs from the LEGO The Simpsons range, Homer Simpsons and Ned Flanders, already listed on eBay (Click here) by the Mexican seller who also offers Flash minifigure and some other new features for 2014.

If we consider that the information we have obtained so far is correct, these minifigs should soon be available in the form of sachets similar to those of the series of collectible minifigs (See this article).

Regarding the design, we had to expect this type of solution, to stick to the physique of the characters. I'm not sure what to think of the end result. What is certain is that it will be easy to guess blindly what is in each sachet ...

We already know the 2014 Flash minifig which will be delivered in the set 76012 The Riddler Chase, almost everything has been said about it.

We now discover the two faces of the character through an eBay seller who (already) offers the minifig for sale (Click here).

As far as I'm concerned, I stay on my position: I much prefer the Flash minifigure proposed by Christo, identical to the one in the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game.

Some loose info from the Marvel panel which just ended at New York Comic Con 2013:

The game is "Gold", ie officially finished, ready to be marketed and it will be released on October 22 in the USA.

The DLC pack "Asgard“which will be available for launch will contain: Malekith, Kurse, Sif, Volstagg, Odin, Hogun, Fandral and Jane Foster.

A DLC "Super Pack"will also be offered with: Thanos, A-Bomb, Beta Ray Bill, Falcon, Dark Phoenix, Winter Soldier, Spider-Mobile, Hawkeye's Sky Cycle and 10 new vehicles.

A demo is available on PC (Download at this address), XBOX and PS3. The PS4 and XBOX One versions will be available in November. Please note that the Nintendo DS / 3DS and PS Vita versions, entitled LEGO Marvel Super Heroes: Universe in Peril, will contain fewer characters than the home console versions. On the other hand, the story will be the same as that developed on home consoles and PC.

The commercial which will be broadcast on TV was presented. It will be available online soon.

New playable characters have been announced: Power Man, Iron Fist, Shocker, Pyro, Electro, Nightmare, TaskMaster (included at the request of fans), Polaris, Moon Knight, Aunt May (No special powers, but with his handbag ...), Absorbing Man, Havok, Superior Spider-Man, She-Hulk, Electro (Two versions: Comic and Amazing Spider-Man 2) ...

Variants of Future Foundation outfits will be available. The game will contain more than 50 vehicles and around 150 characters.
