It's almost Christmas (!) And LEGO is offering us its traditional end-of-year game with pretty prizes.
This year, it is about completing 12 "missions" to be able to hope to win the jackpot of the operation, namely 1500 € of LEGO toys, just that!
To validate participation in the draw, all you have to do is correctly complete 6 of the 12 proposed missions.
In addition, for each of the first 6 missions (One mission unveiled every Tuesday over the duration of the operation), a draw will be made to designate 25 lucky winners who will be offered a LEGO Advent calendar.
To try your luck, it's at this address.
The complete regulations of the operation are available at this address.
Here is one of the minifigs from the Star Wars Battle Pack 75035 Kashyyyk Troopers : A Trooper of the 41st Elite Corps put up for sale on eBay (Click here) at a somewhat indecent price by a Czech seller who has his sources in the factory next to his home.
Nice minifigure, even if something bothers me about the helmet: The green visor seems to me to be placed a little high compared to the face. The camouflage on the chest and legs is quite successful.
The Battle Pack 75035 Kashyyyk Troopers expected for January 2014 will ship with two of these minifigs and two Kashyyyk Clone Troopers.
Barely recovered from official visuals LEGO The Hobbit sets that will be available at the end of the year, here is already a list of the LEGO Lord of the Rings sets planned for 2014, posted on EB by someone who claims to have had access to preliminary visuals, which should feed the discussions for the coming weeks / months:
The Mirror of Galadriel : A set with Frod and Galadriel minifigs. A mirror and a statue. (US public price announced at $ 12.99)
Amon Hen Ambush : A box with 2 x Uruk-hai, Boronir and a Hobbit who could be Merry. A few stairs. (US retail price announced at $ 25.99)
The Defense of Osgiliath : A set containing 2 x Orcs, 1 x Gondor Soldier, and what could be a Ranger. A small boat and some ruins. (US public price announced at $ 40)
witch king showdown : With on the menu, the Witch King, Theoden, a Rider of Rohan (Eowyn?), A white horse and a Nazgûl. A white horse and a Fell Beast. (US public price announced at $ 60)
The Battle of Minas Tirith : The big wave set with Gandalf, 2 x Gondor Soldiers, 4 x Orcs, a troll and a Hobbit (Pippin?). A catapult, a piece of citadel with the front door and a small house. (US public price announced at $ 120)
This first list is obviously to be taken with a grain of salt, even if the whole thing seems completely coherent.
Come on, a little new visual to end the day with this really nice poster to download in high resolution on my flickr gallery.
The visuals that compose it are not all new, but the editing is really brilliant. I am a fan of visual communication around the game.
