Le first episode had earned me many emails from parents outraged by the violence of the images and I prefer to warn you: This second opus of the "adventures" of Captain America facing Red Skull directed by Forrest Whaley alias forestfire101 is certainly less violent than the previous one, but young LEGO fans will avoid viewing it without their parents' consent.
That being said, this brickfilm still raises the bar of what is technically possible to do with a few minifigs, the right gear, time, patience and a lot of skill.
The fight scene is simply mind-blowing in its fluidity and readability. Everything is close-up, it's edited like a real movie and the result is truly breathtaking.

We can say what we want about LEGO's marketing strategy, but we have to admit that their TV ads are really very well done.
Here is a very recent one with two of the sets from the Man of Steel set range staged: 76002 Superman Metropolis Showdown et 76003 Superman Battle of Smallville. Action and missile flick-fire galore ...

In the bag, Kraang, a small cannon and the 4 turtles represented by a few bricks that must be aimed and knocked out. Nothing exciting except the minifigure ...
LegoSantaFe offers on its YouTube channel a video review of the contents of this bag, I share it with you below:
For those who have not yet seen these images, here is what LEGO presented on its booth during the last Tokyo Toy Show 2013 (Japan).
Among the many novelties for 2013 exhibited on the manufacturer's booth, this rather nice minifig display case that would go well in my office ...

Enroute for a small brickfilm superbly directed by the team of Brotherhood Workshop led by Kevin Ulrich.
Note on this brickfilm which takes place in front of the Black Door (The Black Gate), a particularly fluid and well-edited fight scene.
About Jerry, I'll let you watch the other Lord of the Rings videos offered by Brotherhood Workshop, you will understand where this running gag comes from.
