... and I wouldn't have it. Point bar. Move along, nothing to see.
La lego mega idea , unveiled by FBTB, for May 4 and 5 is reserved for Americans, so if you have better things to do, go back to watch TV or play Skylanders (I love this game ...).
Otherwise, well here is the detail of the thing: Take a photo of one of your creations on the Star Wars theme, upload it at LEGO or drop it off in a LEGO Store and you will have the honor of participating in the creation of a giant mosaic. A photo will be drawn and the lucky American winner will be offered a Darth Maul 60 cm tall and valued at $ 1.000.
In short, this is once again the international loose and you can continue to resent LEGO for forgetting us on the side of the road. Some day, however, someone will have to be held to account for all this pro-American patronage. Big market or not, I'm an AFOL like the others and the guys who work at LEGO France could move a little with their management so that we are entitled to some activities during the year ...
For lack of better, go cry all the tears of your body on the site dedicated to this operation (still quite empty at the present time).
If this project goes through and sees the light of day, it should be an impressive JI. By its dimensions first of all, which in view of the first photos above should be exceptional, and then by the stake: Recreate at the minifig scale (for those allergic to this expression, by that I mean that the walls will be high enough that a plastic Uruk-Hai cannot step over them ...) the Battle of Helm's Deep.
Obviously, this project is only at a very preliminary stage and it will take Durins Bane a lot of patience, and minifigs, to bring it to fruition.
In the meantime, you can bookmark this dedicated topic and see this gargantuan project evolve ...
Continuing its momentum, Nuju Metru, who has already proposed a series of MOCs / sets alternative to the official LEGO Lord of the Rings range, now offers several sets based on the second part of the saga: The Two Towers.
As for the first series of creations, some will find the approach a little incongruous, knowing that LEGO has officially announced its own range, but we must in no way lose sight of the fact that this exercise in style is not intended to demonstrate what whether on the marketing or commercial level. This is for Nuju Metru to offer his vision of what could be a range of LEGO Lord of the Rings sets, while respecting the brand's codes in terms of parts / price / minifigs / playability.
To see more about this second series of MOCs, visit the flickr gallery by Nuju Metru.
This is the first visual of this promotional bag (5000022) which contains a classic minifig representing the Hulk. The minifig is nice, and it will delight all those who are a little disappointed with the large minifigure that LEGO provides us in the set 6868 Hulk's Helicarrier Breakout.
Still no information on the availability in France of this bag, but we already know that it will be offered from May 16 to 31 in Germany and Great Britain for 55 € of purchases. this offer should therefore logically take place with us on the same dates. If in doubt, do not rush to bricklink where the sachet has already made a brief appearance before disappearing ...
Le mini-site dedicated to the LEGO Super Heroes Marvel range has evolved slightly, but not enough to whip a cat. On the other hand, fans of Hero Factory type figurines will find there some pdf files allowing to mix the parts of the 3 sets of the Marvel range (4529 Iron Man, 4530 Hulk & 4597 Captain America) to compose improbable but rather successful super heroes.
LEGO also has instructions for assembling alternate versions of each superhero.
Fans of the Hero Factory range are already familiar with this possibility of mixing two figures to create a more powerful super-character.
The files to make these combi-heroes are available for download below:

4530 Hulk - Alternate Model
