If you like to celebrate Christmas by surrounding yourself with lots of LEGO-based stuff, here's something to weigh down the branches of your tree a little more with this new decoration representing a Toy Soldier with Mixels eyes (It's fashion at LEGO this year ...).

this new christmas ornament (LEGO reference 5004420) will be offered with no minimum purchase to customers of the LEGO Store in Berlin (Germany) from November 24, on presentation of the flyer from which the visual above is extracted.

It should probably arrive in France at the same time but it remains to be seen how much it will have to spend to get it because I doubt that it will be offered unconditionally with us: In 2015, it was the reference 5003083 representing a Christmas tree that was offered in all the LEGO Stores (And only in stores, nothing in the LEGO Shop) from 30 € of purchase.

You bought the set Ghostbusters 75828 Ecto-1 & 2 ? If so, I have a quick question for you: The minifig of Jillian Holtzmann at left below, how do you find it in real life? Where do you find it in the box?

I read and re-read dozens of reviews and other ultra-detailed infomercials from this set all over the internet and no one seems to mention this version of the character ...

Yet it is present on the official visuals, whether on the product sheet on the LEGO Shop (image above) or in the visual gallery uploaded by LEGO on Facebook to announce the release of the set (left image below).

The minifigure on the right, also present on the official visuals, is however well in the box, but the other face of the supplied face does not include the glasses of the visual on the left.

So I'll ask you the question again: Who has the alternate version of Jillian Holtzmann, with his personalized torso (the collar is unique and the badge clearly mentions the character's initials) and his golden glasses? WHO ?

Small reminder for those wondering what the LEGO Star Wars sets refer to 75145 Eclipse Fighter et 75147 Star Scavenger released this summer: These two boxes are based on the animated series LEGO Star Wars - The Freemaker Adventures which is currently broadcast in France.

It's on the Disney XD channel that it happens and a new 25-minute episode is broadcast every Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. Many reruns are scheduled for the following week.

The first episode, titled "The discovery of a hero"aired last Sunday and is rebroadcast daily until the end of the week.

Sunday September 11, the second episode (The Graballa Mines) will be broadcast. The third episode (Zander's Walk) is scheduled for Sunday, September 18. The adventures of Kordi, Rowan, Zander, and the R0-GR Battle Droid span 13 episodes. 

It is complicated. The teasing of trailers, the previews of teasers, etc ...

To put it simply, here is an excerpt from a short film of five minutes, based on the universe and the characters of the LEGO Ninjago range, which will be broadcast in the USA from September 23, before the screening of the film Cigognes et Compagnie [Storks].

This short film entitled The Master: A LEGO Ninjago Short should in principle give us a taste of the visual atmosphere of the film The LEGO Ninjago Movie whose theatrical release is scheduled for September 27, 2017.

We just remember that everything is not based on bricks in this animated film. Jackie Chan provides voice casting for Master Wu, but that gives us a good leg for the French version.

It is not yet known if this short film will be broadcast in France on the occasion of the theatrical release of the animated film Cigognes et Compagnie, the latter being produced by the studio. WAG (Warner Animation Group) also at the origin of animated films The LEGO Movie, The LEGO Batman Movie and of course from The LEGO Ninjago Movie.

I forgot: The release of The LEGO Ninjago Movie will of course be accompanied by a slew of LEGO sets. If you are a fan of the range, get ready ...

LEGO has just announced its interim results for the first half of 2016 and if you don't want to read the full press release which can be found at this address, I will summarize the situation below:

• The turnover achieved by LEGO during the first half of 2016 amounted to 2.1 billion euros with a net profit (Les sousous in the pocket) down slightly (-2%) compared to 2015 but which still reached 469 million.
• The overall turnover is 10% increase compared to the same period of the year 2015.
• The European and Asian markets are recording a double digit growth over these first six months of the year.
• The American market is stagnating: sales are maintained at the level of the previous year. LEGO assumes and promises to relaunch growth in this market by putting the package.
• The Group's Chinese plant, located in Jiaxing, has entered the production phase. The factories in Monterey (Mexico) and Nyíregyháza (Hungary) will see their production capacity double after some expansion works.
• In terms of the group's workforce, LEGO has hired 3500 employees (24% more than in 2015) during the first half of 2016 for a total of 18500 employees worldwide.
