forest-maiden-has-leia-hair

Open your LEGO Minifigures Character Encyclopedia on page 167 and take a duplicate ... This is not for a written quiz but rather for a nice wink and interesting info for all fans of the LEGO Star Wars range.

If you carefully read the box titled Did you know"bottom left, you'll learn that the Forest Maiden Series 9 minifig features a soft plastic hairstyle that has been designed to be attributable to other characters including one from a galaxy far, far away ...

Obviously, this implication mentions Princess Leia in the land of the Ewoks seen in theEpisode VI Return of the Jedi.

You can be sure that if the publisher of the book, Dorling Kindersley, inserted this information in the description of this minifigure, it is under the control of LEGO and therefore we can hope to obtain a new variant of Leia with this pretty hairstyle soon, probably in the mystery set about which we do not know much at the moment: 10236 Ewok Village.

Praiter Yed had also been a precursor with his custom Leia equipped with the same hairstyle I was talking about in March on the blog.

After Levallois-Perret (Center Commercial SO Ouest) and Lille (Center Commercial Euralille), a third LEGO Store is due to open in April 2015 in space "Promenade Sainte-Catherine"in Bordeaux with an advertised area of 700 m². This is in any case what the LSA magazine reveals on his website.

Despite some persistent rumors and some officially unconfirmed information regarding the upcoming opening of a LEGO Store in Paris (Beaugrenelle Shopping Center), it is not yet known whether other official stores will open their doors elsewhere in France by April 2015 and whether this Bordeaux LEGO Store will indeed be the third in France.

10240 Red Five X-Wing Starfighter

The and 10240 Red Five X-Wing Starfighter is a real success, but it also has some minor flaws.

And everyone who has assembled this X-Wing has found that the wings have an annoying tendency to sag slightly under their own weight. This sagging is also visible on the official visuals of the set (bottom visual on the photo below).

As a good perfectionist that he is, Phil therefore found a workaround to this problem by stretching the spring of the 731c06 shock absorber (Light Bluish Gray Technic, Shock Absorber 6.5L, Complete Assembly - Soft Spring) delivered in quadruplicate in this set.

The result is clear: The wings are well placed between them and remain horizontal when folded (top visual on the photo below). Thanks to Phil for this simple and economical solution.

The DIY minute is now over, you can go back to your favorite activities.

Marvel Agents of SHIELD

It is an understatement to say that the TV series derived from the Avengers saga is eagerly awaited.

Agents of SHIELD will see Agent Phil Coulson played by Clark Gregg return from the (almost) dead for a TV version broadcast in the USA on ABC. If the trailer below is to be believed, the series is taking over from The Avengers, although it has been said time and time again that none of the superheroes on the team led by SHIELD boss Nick Fury do. will be present in the series.

We should therefore be entitled to a slew of new super-villains with diverse and varied powers, hunted down by Coulson and his agents. An appearance of Agent Maria Hill would also not be a refusal.

After the excellent Arrow series whose season 1 is about to end, Agents of SHIELD looks promising, at least on paper. It remains to be hoped that the series will retain the "comic" side of the universe from which it is inspired and not become a cop show Moreover.

If the series has good audiences, goes to the end of its first season and exports well, only then can we hope that LEGO deigns to offer us a set or two Marvel: Agents of SHIELD

It would not be surprising, LEGO has understood for a long time that the market for products derived from cartoons, video games, and why not TV series, is a bottomless pit.

This would be a once in a lifetime chance to get a Coulson minifigure, and let's be crazy about Agent Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) which would delight a lot of fans, including me.
