Midi-Scale Imperator II-Class Star Destroyer

While waiting to know if someone will offer us some images of the Nuremberg Toy Fair which has just opened its doors, I offer you a MOC perfectly balanced between level of detail and sobriety of the Star Destroyer in Midi-Scale, format that I 'particularly appreciates.

Collectors will immediately think back to the official 8099 Midi-Scale Imperial Star Destroyer set released in 2010, one of two scale sets that LEGO has deigned to release to date, the other being the 7778 Midi-Scale Millennium Falcon released in 2009. .

alexander alias V1lain on flickr So presents us his version of the Star Destroyer (481 pieces, 19x30x10 cm) at this scale and he even made some a Cuusoo project that you can support, even though we all know there is no chance this MOC will end up on the shelves at your favorite toy store ...

At the risk of rambling on and passing for an activist for lost causes, I persist in saying that the Midi-Scale format, which offers an excellent potential compromise of exposure / space saving on our crowded shelves, really deserves a sub-range. dedicated at LEGO ...

You can discover many other views of this ship on the MOCeur flickr gallery which also indicates that it will subsequently make public the instruction file for this MOC.

LEGO Star Wars 2013 - 75020 Jabba's Sail Barge

LEGO has put online today a new episode of its mini web-series LEGO Star Wars and we discover what should be, with a few details, the content of the set 75020 Jabba's Sail Barge planned for mid-2013.

And even if the barge of the set 6210 released in 2006 almost passes for a UCS next to this simplified version, all those who could not a few years ago get this set (which is currently sold new around 250 € on Bricklink) will certainly be delighted to be able to add this device to their collection.

As a reminder, according to the information obtained during the London Toy Fair, this set will be delivered with Jabba, R2-D2, Leia (Slave), Max Rebo, Ree-Yees and a Weequay.

Below is episode 10 of season 5 of the LEGO Star Wars web-series.

No more dad posters to announce exhibitions, place for trailers, and Yannick has just sent me the Briqu'expo Diémoz 2013 poster.

It's much more dynamic, it makes you want to go for a walk and it allows me to tell you that this event organized by the association "the Sou of the Schools"by Diémoz, FreeLUG and BaB will give pride of place to superheroes and trains with an attempt to set a new speed record on the LGV.

The exhibition will take place on September 14 and 15, 2013 in Diémoz (38 - 20 km east of Lyon) and I will be there as a visitor of course.

If you need information to exhibit or organize your trip, do not hesitate to contact Yannick (yannick.vignat [@] club-internet.fr), he will get back to you as soon as possible.

All the essential information about the exhibition is available on this dedicated space at FreeLUG.

LEGO Lord of the Rings 2013

Come on, since we are still between us, another image to unveil via this other very stupid enigma.

"As Thorin and his companions challenge the dragon you will dare,
From the lonely mountain you will approach,
With a gesture a new window you will open,
Your courage rewarded then will be ...

Please do not repost this visual everywhere, especially on flickr, it is still a blow to be in trouble ...

For those who did not understand, I am not taking myself for Father Fouras, I am just trying to be discreet ...
