LEGO Star Wars 2013 - Z-95 Headhunter

There's a lot of talk about Pong Krell right now and the different visuals we've had the opportunity to get recently via eBay foreshadowed a nice minifigure.

But while sailing on amazon.co.uk who posted the 2013 novelties, we find this official visual of the Jedi General's minifigure (75004 Z-95 Headhunter) and, seen like this on a white background, something bothers me. The legs are obviously too short due to the optical effect of adding a second modified torso. We have the impression of seeing two dwarves stacked on top of each other in a Halloween costume ...

Risking everything LEGO could almost have used the legs of Woody's minifig (Lego toy story) to compensate. Krell would then have been way too tall compared to the other minifigs, but he would also have been better proportioned.

It is well known, scale problems, LEGO has always made fun of it ... and it continues in 2013. Just take a look at the machine in the set 75002AT-RT which almost looks like an AT-ST ...

Those who follow the animated series The Clone Wars and who have not missed episode 7 of season 4 Darkness on Umbara will agree that this AT-RT is clearly disproportionate and that's a shame. Without wanting to stress the scale issues, a little consistency wouldn't hurt on some sets. In this specific case, the machine is clearly intended to accommodate a minifigure as shown in the official visual. It is not a model intended for the exhibition.

Lego galaxy squad

It's because of cupishalfempty who posted new images of the 70700 Space Swarmer set on flickr that we are discovering the entire Galaxy Squad range this morning.

And I must say that I am more and more enthusiastic about this theme which is the first license made-in-lego to please me as much with its squads of brave astronauts identified by different colors who fight against the evil insects.

There is a bit (only a few) of Starship Troopers in this lineup, political irony and gore less.

To see more about the 70700 Space Swarmer set, visit Cupishalfempty's flickr gallery.

Lego Star Wars II (Video Game) Battle of Hoth

And we talk again (to say nothing) about this set "Battle of Hoth"about which we know practically nothing except that it will have a priori the reference 75014 and that it will contain five minifigs.

It could be an exclusive LEGO Shop set, or reserved for a particular brand (Toys R Us, La Grande Récré, etc ...)

No visual is available for the moment. We can always hope for a playset possibly including a AT-AT, a Snowspeeder and a piece of bunker that would complete the catastrophic 7879 Hoth Echo Base released in 2011 or the most successful (for my taste) 7666 Hoth Rebel Base released in 2007.

We find for the moment trace of this reference on this polish site and this russian site which publishes a description whose English translation gives something like this (via Google translation):

"... Go with Luke Skywalker on the ice-covered planet of Hoth in his Snowspeeder! Beware tranches command center with Commander Rikanom Imperial pilots and catch speeders snow attacking Defense Forces rebels. Shoot from the turret guns! Help the rebels defeat the forces of the Galactic Empire in the Battle for the planet Hoth from the movie "Star Wars: Episode V. The Empire Strikes Back"! As usual, I would point out that the illustration above is not an image of the set in question, but a screenshot from the Lego Star Wars II video game.

LEGO The Hobbit: Elrond Exclusive Minifig

Do not believe everything you are told on various forums: The too short cape contained in Elrond's polybag is indeed a hobbit cape and it is a confirmed error on the part of the manufacturer.

Klikk blog echoed this and I have just contacted customer service who confirms the matter.

LEGO also asks all those who were entitled to this too short cape to contact customer service to obtain the longer cape originally intended for this minifigure.
