Because on Hoth Bricks we are also here to talk about MOCs and Star Wars, here is an original use of the Death Star of the set 9676 Planet Series.

Oddly, when this range was released, I expected more MOCs featuring the cupolas of these planets. This Buzz Droid perfectly integrates the two domes and dr_spock (see his flickr gallery) even added a little light to refine the realistic side of the whole.

Here are the results of the My Own Planet competition which brought together 67 participants. 67 MOCs presented, great ideas, achievements less successful than others and a few MOCs who have missed the subject a little.

I thank all the participants for their efforts and if it was nevertheless necessary to determine a classification, there are more than 10 entries which deserve to be rewarded, it is a fact. Unfortunately, the endowment is limited and the peculiarity of a competition is also to accept not to win against competitors who have proposed a better achievement, or in any case more appreciated by the jury.

That being said, the 10 winning entries are those which obviously convinced the jury the most. It is subjective, but apart from respecting the regulations and the various constraints imposed, the rest of the assessment criteria are necessarily marked by a very "human" subjectivity.

The first prize of the competition is awarded to: Logos for The Planet Set Utapau, Tion Medon, and Class Hunter Rogue Porax.
