Sorry for the title ...
I constantly complain that the quality of the brickfilms or video reviews offered on YouTube leaves something to be desired, and I just realized that there is one director that I have never mentioned here: Marc Andre Caron. He posted a comment on one of the posts on this blog, and I figured this error needs to be fixed.
However, this gentleman whose work I had discovered thanks to the QuéLUG forum (Le LUG québécois), does very beautiful things like this very creative brickfilm entitled "How to make a monster"for example, and which humorously stages the minifigs of the Monster Fighters set 9466 The Crazy Scientist and His Monster.
His latest video is also interesting: It is visually very successful and allows to compare the minifigs of the set 850486 Rock Band with those of the different series of collectible minifigs from which they are inspired.
Do not hesitate to consult its site et his YouTube channel, there are other brickfilms to discover and in addition ... they seem to be good ...
You have not fallen for this set whose we definitely talk a lot (too much) lately? That's what you missed, summed up in 9 minutes and 40 seconds of stop-motion.
A crazy inventory, minifigs in spades, cool features, all that for € 139.99 (hmm, sorry, € 179.99).
At the end of the video, Artifex integrated one of its LED kits, and the result is not really convincing for my taste. Yet this haunted house would do well with interior lighting on one of the windows, just a ...
You just saved 40 € on the set 10228 Haunted Houses thanks to the generosity (or incompetence, it depends) of LEGO?
So you have enough to offer yourself a few sets to complete your collection. Small recap of the best deals of the moment. Click on the name of the set to view the item at the relevant merchant:

Small compilation of the weekend rumors gleaned from various forums (EB, Brickset, etc.), you can do what you want with it, it's a gift, it makes me happy:
- Lego tmnt : My source had told the truth, an Australian who works in a toy store had a visit from his LEGO salesperson and confirms on Brickset that this theme will come out well and that it is indeed based on the animated series which will be broadcast at the end of the month on Nickelodeon.
- LEGO City (Undercover?) : This same guy saw preliminary images of a set which could represent a robbery in a museum, with maybe a helicopter.
- Lego legends of chima : It will be a priori a theme with animals with a humanoid appearance (!) Brought to replace the Ninjago range. No more spinning tops, make way for a sort of flying propeller (Speedorz?) And Hero Factory type characters.
- Lego super heroes : Iron Man 3 and Man of Steel sets are on the program. The TDKR set with Batman at the controls of The Bat chasing Bane in his Tumbler is well confirmed once again.
- Lego galaxy : It seems that LEGO is going back to basics with a space theme. The person giving the info would have seen (or thought they saw) a "Galaxy Quest" style title for this range.
Let's be clear from the outset: These aren't the MOCs of the century and Harry Russell aka Karrde isn't claiming they are, but there is a certain freshness to these three Lord of the Rings themed MOCs. It's simple, beautifully executed, perfectly photographed, with some great building ideas, and visually it works. I ask no more.
The purists will always be able to find some reproaches to make, but these achievements are not perfect reproductions of events or places of the universe Lord of the Rings, they do not have any more the pretension as the MOCeur says it. himself.
So let yourself go, take a look at his flickr gallery and you will discover some interesting details like the wall demolished by an angry Ent or the waterfall coming out of the rocks ...
