SDCC 29012 - LEGO Lord of the Rings & LEGO The Hobbit - Bilbo Baggins

LEGO announced it in his press release relating to the events that will take place during San Diego Comic Con 2012: Visitors will be able to reconstruct Bilbo Baggins' minfig via a treasure hunt between the stands aided by a map of Middle-earth which will allow them to locate the different parts to be assembled .

Here is this minifig in pictures (Photos published by FBTB). I can already hear you ruminating, and I confirm that you will have to manage to find the minifigure accompanied by the card in question at a reasonable price if you are a compulsive collector ...

SDCC 2012 - LEGO Super Heroes DC & Marvel Exclusive Minifigs - Bizarro & Phoenix

Two of the four exclusive minifigs with a circulation of 1000 have just been revealed by USA Today.

So here are Bizarro and Phoenix (Jean Gray). Big crush for Bizarro on my side. I flash less on Phoenix, probably because of the Poison Ivy look ...

It remains now either to make a reason, or to prepare a good purse of sesterces to get them on eBay ...

Important update: FBTB confirms that these minifigs will NOT be available in hypothetical future sets of the LEGO Super Heroes range. NEVER. NEVER. NIE.

UCS Astromech Droids by Tontus

And Tontus is one of them. Not happy to have offered the set 10225 SCU R2-D2, he chose to decline the astromech droid in question and to reproduce some of his colleagues with their respective colors.

This is how we find from left to right on the photo above: R2-Q2 (who was hanging on board the Devastator), R2-R9 (serving Amidala on Naboo) and R2-B1 (accompanying R2-R9 on Naboo). They are obviously largely inspired by the design of the official LEGO model, and Tontus admits to having made some adaptations of his own, in particular by changing a few parts in order to save a few dollars.

Tontus has also integrated Artifex LED kits on these droids, something that LEGO could very well have considered on the official model in order to bring a little life to the tin can in question ...

The MOCeur does not intend to stop there, and it already offers the LDD versions of its future droids, namely R5-D4 and R4-I9.
