Big communication currently at LEGO for the imminent launch of the LEGO Batman 2 video game.

For the first time ever, the characters speak and the American voices are just awesome. The tone is excellent, the choice of voices according to the characters is judicious and we can say that the developers have taken care of this part of the game which however disappoints some conservative fans, but which promises an unprecedented immersion in the universe of superheroes at the LEGO sauce.

It remains to be seen how the game will be localized in the French version. I don't think the voices will be re-recorded in French, and we will most certainly be entitled to subtitles.

Hopefully the translation is up to the task and the subtitles aren't just a short version of the actual dialogue as is too often the case in the video game world. I don't remember reading that the French version would be localized to voice level, but I could be wrong.
