Crossovers between very different universes are often risky. Especially when it comes to emblematic machines that fans do not necessarily accept to see massacred in more or less successful MOCs.
M00DSWIM succeeds in mixing Batman and Star Wars with this very balanced Bat-Wing Fighter, a sort of X-Wing customized by the vigilante of Gotham City. The two universes marry wonderfully on this realization and we do not really know if it is Star Wars with Batman sauce or the reverse ...
This creation will likely be presented as part of the competition Wings of Justice organized on FBTB.
To see more, it's on the flickr gallery from M00DSWIM that it's happening.
And it's bright87 (his flickr gallery) which I immediately received the message that published on his flickr gallery the photos of the exclusive minifig of Lex Luthor which is offered in the collector's version of the video game Lego batman 2.
And I must say that it is a beautiful and very successful minifig with the right amount of fun, colors and accessories to match the exoskeleton of the set 6862 Superman vs. Power Armor Lex. This helps maintain consistency between Lex Luthor and its various equipment.
And it is with a representation under LDD of the model of Y-Wing designed by Colin Cantwell (BTL-P1 Y-Wing Prototype) painted by Ralph mcquarrie, official illustrator of the Star Wars saga who died recently, that Scott Peterson pays tribute in his own way to this artist much appreciated by fans.
Scott Peterson is also at the origin of an interesting Cuusoo project revolving around the lightsabers of the saga and whose I was talking to you a few weeks ago.
This is from original illustrations by Ralph mcquarrie that this rather gifted MOCeur reconstructed this original model of the Y-Wing which is the ancestor of the one we all know. I have read elsewhere that the bubble covering the space dedicated to the shooter had been abandoned on the final model due to constraints linked to the special effects techniques of the time, which did not allow this transparent canopy to be correctly embedded.
To see more about this creation under LDD which should quickly materialize as a model based on real bricks as indicated by Scott Peterson, it's on the flickr gallery of the latter that it happens.
The word review is definitely used everywhere ... Reviews of minifigs, posters, boxes, bags, blurry photos ...
In short, here are some visuals of the bag 30165 Hawkeye with a minifigure and a pseudo-rack of weapons and accessories offered by Graysmith on Eurobricks.
The bag has indeed appeared in Sweden long before its worldwide availability, er American, and this will be an opportunity to get the Hawkeye minifigure at a lower cost and to see its price drop on Bricklink. So good ...
The bag is also available on Bricklink from Nordic sellers for a little less than 10 euros: 30165 Hawkeye.
DoctorBrikDady is still offering the first review of the set 9469 Gandalf Arrives with beautiful images, a timelapse of the assembly of Gandalf's cart, close-ups of the two minifigs in the set and the presentation of the new horse model.
Note that The Brick Show also offers a review of this set, but their videos are so annoying that I don't even watch them anymore .... Their concept is however interesting, but the comments border on absolute emptiness and their reviews drag on unnecessarily in length because of their will permanent to play it TF1 of the brick.
On the flickr side, it's sidersdd which offers a gallery dedicated to the new sets in the range with many pictures of the minifigs. To discover at this address.
