A quick glance at the Google stats lets me think that many of you are interested in the contents of the set box 3866 Battle of Hoth. This new board game in the LEGO range has caught the attention of all fans of the Star Wars universe and before you spend just under $ 40, you might want to know what exactly is in this set.
So, to make life easier for those who are reluctant to look for instructions directly on the LEGO site, I invite you to click on the image above. You will then have access to pdf of the booklet supplied with the game, and on page 31, you will have details of the content with the list of parts and the quantities concerned. In particular, you will find the list of microfigs in the set.
And as you probably want to take the opportunity to know the rules of this LEGO style board game, here is the rulebook for download in pdf format.
With this catchy title, I have your undivided attention. For those who have not seen the video below, you will discover that the most famous clash of cinema in the category fluorescent-lightsaber-making-bzzzz is a huge scam and if Darth Maul comes back, he wasn't risking much in this fight ....
Joking aside, we have here a nice work of visual analysis commented with humor that demonstrates that the Jedi may have mastered force, but also dodge and dodge .... After seeing these images, you will not will watch moreEpisode I: The Phantom Menace like before....
Scott Peterson had already amazed us with his lightsabers recreated under LDD (LEGO Digital designer). He now steps up a gear and puts his hand in his brick crate to offer us a very real version of Darth Vader's weapon whose rendering is simply incredible in detail and finish.
This comforts me in the idea that these lightsabers should see the light of day in the form of sets intended for collectors ... Scott Peterson also proposed the idea on Cuusoo but supporters are scarce, they are undoubtedly too busy supporting the Bonanza project initiated by the community which undoubtedly claims a certain recognition ...
However, if you ever want to be able to hope to get these lightsabers in a nice box, with a nice holder and a nice nameplate, please support Scott's initiative on Cuusoo. It doesn't cost you anything, and even if we probably won't go very far with 80 supporters, it's an opportunity to show LEGO that collectors expect something other than yet another remake of Slave I or X- Wing ...
You can see this saber from every angle on the flickr gallery by Scott Peterson.
Nothing new under the sun except a few modifications on the dedicated minisite to the LEGO Lord of the Rings range: The image of Eomer's minifig has been corrected and his uncle Theoden's sheet has been added. Nothing to say about these two minifigs, they are superbly screen printed and very well equipped.
A quick wink for a new book that deserves your attention. 3 guys embarked on a rather interesting mission: Find each place located in the USA that was used for the filming of one of the episodes of the Star Wars saga ... I had followed the launch of their project on Kickstarter and on facebook and I must say that I am already impatient to see the result.
Okay, the places listed are all located in the United States, but I still want to discover all these sometimes surprising environments that were used by Lucas.
If you want to know more about this project which started on Kickstarter and which came to fruition thanks to the financial support of Internet users, go to the dedicated blog or the facebook page.
The book is available for pre-order on Amazon.fr at the correct price of 23.29 €: In a Galaxy Not So Far Away ... the Star Wars Filming Locations of the United States.
