A little freshness and poetry with this pretty MOC from TomSolo93.
This scene is loosely inspired by a cut scene of the'Episode II: Attack Of The Clones in which Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala visit her parents on Naboo.
We find the peaceful atmosphere of Theed, capital of Naboo, with its quiet alleys with beige (Tan) walls where vegetation roams the walls. We will pass on the minifig representing Padme, difficult indeed to produce one currently, while waiting for a Queen Amidala in full dress promised in set 9499 from the Star Wars 2012 range.
To see more, visit TomSolo93's flickr gallery, a young MOCeur with a future.
If you do not know this MOC, this is a good opportunity to find out. If you already know it, go and support it on Cuusoo.
Indeed, BaronSat discovered that his MOC had been posted by someone other than himself as a Cuusoo project.
Suddenly, he decided to create a project himself for this sympathetic MOC, and which is one of the few reproducing this creature from Tatooine and ridden by the Between Raiders.
For the record, the creature used in the film is actually an elephant decked out in a costume ...
I said so, support the BaronSat project, he deserves it, even if objectively, and in view of the functioning of Cuusoo, this project will probably never see the light of day as a commercialized set.
While the rest of the range is already available across the Atlantic, the set 6860 The Batcave is always prayed for.
But if you have the cash, you can get it right now for the low price of $ 499.99 from this merchant, who illustrates his announcement with a very real photo of the box, thus assuring potential buyers that he has this set in his possession.
The price is of course prohibitive, but I'm sure that this set will find a buyer quickly ...
Let's go for a list of what could be the sets of the LOTR range for June 2012.
This list which is currently circulating everywhere, on forums and on Youtube (cf. TheLegoAdrian's comment on the previous article) was posted on 16/12 by Eurobricks forumer AllanSmith (see here), and a few hours later, another forumer, Cwetqo, confirmed the existence of these sets (see here:
9469 Gandalf Arrives
9470 Shelob Attacks
9471 Uruk-hai Army
9472 Attack on Weathertop
9473 The Mines of Moria
9474 The Battle of Helm's Deep
9476 The Orc Forge
The names are catchy and promising.
We will take care not to get carried away on this list before having confirmation from other sources, or before having access to the first preliminary visuals.
In addition, there is no point in getting excited about the names of these sets either, LEGO being the specialist in pompous names, to ultimately offer us sets that have little to do with what the AFOLs expected. ..
Obviously, just like you, I'm impatient to know the list of sets that will be offered to us. But more than just a simple list, I'd start jumping all over the place when the first visuals pop up.
In the meantime, since we still don't know anything, let me illustrate this article with a photo relating to Peter Jackson's next film: The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey...
This spaceship piloted by Asajj Ventress and seen in particular in the 12th episode of season 3 of the animated series The Clone Wars has not been often reproduced by MOCeurs. I offered you on this blog Joel Baker's version at the beginning of 2011, and since nothing or not much, except the micro version of Vacherone (see this article).
Unlike Joel Baker's MOC, this one uses wings that are not made of parts. Rook used the sails of the boat from the set Pirates of the Caribbean 4195 Queen's Anne Revenge and even though the wings don't have the expected circular shape, this trick works pretty well.
The final rendering is faithful to the original model and the fenders can even fold up. What more ?
