Lego the simpsons

Things are getting clearer regarding the LEGO The Simpsons range with a confirmation of the release in May 2014 of what we can consider as the series 13 of Collectible Minifigures (LEGO Reference 71005), dedicated exclusively to the characters of the series.

16 sachets in the usual size containing 16 of the inhabitants of Springfield including Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, Apu, Chief Wiggum, Moe, Itchy and Scratchy and a few others ...

Only one set is on the program at the start of 2014 and it will be the home of the Simpson family.

The release of this box sold exclusively in the LEGO Stores and on the LEGO Shop (It will therefore be a D2C set - Direct2Consumer) is scheduled for April 2014.

For the occasion, a special episode of the animated series (In the same format as the special LEGO Star Wars episodes The Padaan Menace, The Empire Strikes Out, etc.) will be released in May 2014.

This information is reported by the site nerdly.co.uk who seems to keep them from a very knowledgeable source.

LEGO Star Wars 66456 3-in-1 Super Pack (75002 + 75004 + 75012)

Another new 3-in-1 Super Pack in the LEGO Star Wars range with the reference 66456 expected at the end of the year.

In the box, 3 sets released in 2013: 75002AT-RT, 75004 Z-95 Headhunter et 75012 BARC Speeder with Sidecar. For once, the mix seems a bit more cohesive than usual with over 800 pieces, a balanced assortment of 10 minifigs, a ship and a few gear in The Clone Wars sauce.

This box is already referenced by the Belgian merchant Collishop.be at a rate of 99.99 €.

No information on the French distributor who will have the exclusivity of this set, but it could be the choice of Toys R Us, Auchan.fr or La Grande Récré.

Star Wars Rebels

The program of New York Comic-Con 2013 is growing and even if the absence of LEGO is enough to make me cancel the planned trip (No doubt for the benefit of San Diego Comic Con in 2014), Star Wars will be in the spotlight with a few panels including one dedicated to the animated series which we do not know much about: Star Wars Rebels.

On October 12, Pablo Hidalgo, big licensee at Lucasfilm, will present a panel dedicated to this new series whose derivative products will undoubtedly invade the shelves of toy stores in 2014.

Despite the ambient excitement following the announcement of this panel, I remain convinced that the rare information that will be disclosed about the series will be the same as those already unveiled during the Star Wars Rebels panel which was held last July. during Celebration Europe II in the presence of Dave Filoni.

If you missed the first exclusive images of the series, go to on this article to discover all the artworks projected on the giant screen that I was able to take a picture of and present to you in a dedicated gallery. It will save you the trip ...

Custom Chrome Minifigs - Minifigures.pl

Always on the lookout for good quality custom minifigs that have become more and more demanding over time, I am amazed at the quality of the work provided by Minifigures.pl (Poland).

These chrome custom minifigs are simply beautiful. They are produced in very limited series and are snapped up at auction on Ebay for sometimes indecent amounts.

All are not created equal: Chromium is not always justified and it is used here in all sauces. Iron Man or Colossus find an advantageous dress here, but a chrome Batman or a copper colored Venom inspires me nothing. I salute despite everything the technical performance which will allow some to add some very original minifigs to their collection.

If you fancy a fight by bidding for one of these minifigs click here, otherwise you can still admire the seller's impressive flickr gallery here.

5001622 LEGO Employee

It's the sensation of the day (We are busy as we can right now ...): This polybag reference LEGO 5001622 came out of nowhere.

In the bag in the colors of the LEGO Store, a minifig obviously dressed as the characters representing the employees of the brand seen on the LEGO Shop for example: This mascot dresses the top left corner of the LEGO Shop and we find it in different postures on the site.

Theories are rife about this sachet but nobody really knows how and when it will be possible to obtain it ...

The visual above was uploaded by http://brickowl.com, which does not communicate any other information about this polybag.
