Partnership signed between LEGO and Universal Music: A new range of products scheduled for 2021

After signing a contract three days ago with Universal Studios, Lego announcement today a collaboration with Universal Music which will materialize in 2021 with the launch of a new range of sets which should "inspire a new generation of musicians, creatives and fans".

We do not yet know much about these products "immersive and interactive"which will mix musical experience and LEGO bricks, we have to be content with the usual LEGO discourse which promises that"this positive and fun initiative will help strengthen the development of young people by harnessing the full potential of musical creation and the LEGO system".

The video below, provided by LEGO to illustrate the signing of this agreement, does not tell us much more about this promised association between musical creativity and construction toy. It will therefore be necessary to wait for a concrete announcement of the products concerned to judge the relevance of the concept.

LEGO Hidden Side news for the second half of 2020

We continue the tour of the novelties of the second semester thanks to the short 360 ° presentation sequences of the different sets put online by the brand Rakuten and here is an overview of the content of the next boxes planned in the LEGO Hidden Side range:

  • 70433 JB´s Submarine (224 pieces - 19.99 €)
  • 70434 Supernatural Race Car (244 pieces - 29.99 €)
  • 70435 Abandoned Prison of Newbury (400 pieces - 39.99 €)
  • 70436 Ghost Firetruck 3000 (760 pieces - 79.99 €)
  • 70437 Mystery Castle (1035 pieces - 99.99 €)

I will let you make up your own mind about these different boxes which will leave some of you indifferent but which will certainly be appreciated by fans of the universe developed in this range. For my part, I admit that the pretty vehicle of the set 70434 Supernatural Race Car will probably push me to make a foray into this range which so far has not really interested me.

76152 Avengers Wrath of Loki

Today we are also discovering a new reference in the LEGO Marvel range: the set bearing the reference 76152 Avengers: Wrath of Loki whose short video presentation below was uploaded by Rakuten.

It is in fact a reference 4+ of 223 parts with a really ultra-simplified tower which will be assembled in a few seconds ... Probable retail price: 59.99 €.

We will have the pad printed piece fixed on the facade of the tower and the minifigs of Loki, Captain Marvel, Hulk, Thor and Iron Man to console us ...

No visuals for the moment of the other set with an Avengers Tower in the box, the reference 76166 whose public price announced at 89.99 € suggests a tower in the spirit of that of the set 76038 Attack on Avengers Tower marketed in 2015 at the public price of € 75.99.
