Because a few images are sometimes better than a long speech, here is the video review of the set 76022 X-Men vs. The Sentinel by Artifex.
The minifigs are great, I think everyone agrees on that, and "the pile of parts that we added in the box to sell the whole as a construction toy"is rather successful, even if we feel on forums and other blogs that everyone does not care ...
As usual with LEGO Super Heroes sets, most fans only care about minifigs and ships / motorcycles / helicopters / planes / boats / etc ... pile up in general indifference.
( Special thanks Laulo_973 for his email)
Artifex has just released a review of the (play) LEGO Marvel 76018 Hulk Lab Smash set. This is the opportunity to discover the minifigs provided in this box (Hulk, Thor, Falcon, The Taskmaster and MODOK) and to see in action the few features ensuring the "playability" quota of the whole.
This set based on the excellent animated series Avengers: Assemble (Avengers: Gathering from us) is already available at amazon and will be on sale very soon on the Lego shop.
Looks likeartist learned the lesson: No more visual pollution in his reviews as was the case with the background used for that of set 76007 Iron Man: Malibu Mansion Attack.
Back to the white background, and we can once again take advantage of what really interests us in these reviews: The minifigs presented in every way and a timelapse of the construction of the elements of the set, all in two minutes.
Below, the review of the set 76011 Batman: Man-Bat Attack.
(Thanks to Laulo_973 for his email)
artist uploaded their review of the 2013 LEGO Super Heroes Marvel set 76007 Malibu Mansion Attack.
I would not go into the limited interest of the set as a whole, except for minifig collectors who will find their happiness in this box with Pepper Potts, Tony Stark, The Mandarin, Iron Man with his armor in Mark 42 version and an Extremis Soldier. The whole for less than 40 €.
Artifex does tons of it with a rather humorous animation towards the end of its review, but I confirm that the background it uses is detrimental to the readability of its videos. Is it really essential to remember your nickname for the length of the video? Probably not, but my little finger tells me that this background has been added to avoid screenshots of the presentation phase of the minifigs on various sites or blogs, forgetting to cite the source.
This review is available in different formats on Artifex YouTube channel : in standard 2D, in 3D for mobile and in 3D for PC. It's up to you to see how you see it.
He is back !
artist gets back to work with new reviews in video, and in 3D.
In fact, it now offers three types of videos for each review: The standard 2D review, a classic 3D version that can be viewed with all types of glasses (active / passive) puts a 3D version optimized for mobile devices . You will find on his YouTube channel a video explaining in detail how to view the 3D content it offers.
To be honest, I'm not really convinced of the value of 3D reviews, but it's a fun experience to try at least once.
Artifex also inaugurates a new background on its reviews and I also find that the overdose of logos limits the readability of the review a bit.
