The most informed fans will know how to differentiate the LEGO minifigs from these copies, but the confusion is cleverly maintained by the Chinese manufacturers of these products, in particular through the packaging which takes again the official LEGO visuals and the logo of the Chinese manufacturer which looks strangely like that. of the brand.

The minifigs are however different, especially at the level of the feet, not to mention the finish or the quality of the pad printing of the parts.

These products are easily accessible for a few dollars on online shopping sites located abroad such as aliexpress.com or in France like the good corner. Many sellers buy wholesale from the first and then resell these products on the second, not always being very clear in the content of their ads.

A few clues to dispel the doubt: LEGO does NOT produce Super Heroes minifigs with this type of packaging. These boxes do not exist in the official range. Official minifigs are always delivered in sets with the brand's official logo and they come with building bricks. The selling price is also a clue: The official products of this range are not sold for 3 or 4 euros each ... If in doubt, buy your LEGOs from known and recognized toy stores or online sellers.

Keep in mind that these counterfeits are illegal, that they are made in a technical context which is difficult to understand (composition of the plastic, the inks used, etc.) even if there is no evidence that they can be dangerous in the hands of a child and that the apparent good deal can very quickly give way to disappointment (fragile parts, questionable finish, etc.). If you're on a budget, look to competing LEGO brands that are more reasonably priced and available within the same radius of your favorite store.
