LEGO Lord of the Rings @ The LEGO Show (Manchester - UK)

As I said, it's bleak plain right now, and you have to wait another good two months to get your hands on the sets from the LEGO Lord of the Rings range. If for some the enthusiasm and enthusiasm of the announcement of this range has undoubtedly given way to a little weariness and indifference, others stampede a little more each day in anticipation of these sets. ..

To pass the time, here is a video taken by a visitor at The LEGO Show in Manchester (UK).

LEGO Lord of the Rings - Edoras by Nuju Metru

Not much new to eat right now in the LEGO Lord of the Rings range. Everything has been said or seen, and apart from the upcoming availability of sets and the hundreds of reviews, the thousands of pictures of minifigs in all sauces, in all positions and with all effects  Instagram possible and imaginable flooding flickr, nothing new under the sun.

Nuju Metru, he continues his way and expands his range of parallel sets with today this magnificent playset / modular featuring Gandalf arriving in the capital of Rohan, Edoras. It's pretty, consistent, playable and it opens the door to a nice village that can be done with other constructions in the same spirit.

UCS 10225 R2-D2 - sold out

What a disappointment this morning when I opened my mailbox: I received a message telling me that the set SCU R2-D2 10225 that I ordered the May 04, 2012 at 01:37 am morning, that is, from the start of the promotion, is in fact out of stock.

It was however well displayed in stock when ordering and I rightly thought that I was one of those who could hope to receive it within the time originally announced. Indeed, the out of stock was indicated online several hours after the validation of my order.

It's obviously not the end of the world, and there are much more serious things in life, but I just find it mind boggling that LEGO is unable to provide its customers with products that are the subject of. intensive promotion, sometimes bordering on saturation ...

Working myself in a structure that sells products whose availability is sometimes sensitive, I can understand a temporary stock problem due to an ongoing replenishment. But I cannot admit that the object of a promotion, launched with great fanfare, and at the center of a skilfully orchestrated marketing action (The R2-D2 poster was indeed sent to him ....), either not available in sufficient quantities to meet a demand that everyone knew was important ....

I still have to wait for the delivery of the bonuses for the order in question, and I would undoubtedly cancel the rest of the order, namely the set. SCU 10225 R2-D2. I would expect to find it cheaper elsewhere in the weeks or months to come and I would be sure to say good things to LEGO for their inability to deliver their flagship products.

LEGO Star Wars - Revenge of the 5th

I told you about it a few days ago, LEGO had launched an operation during which Americans could upload their creations to form a collective mosaic that has just been unveiled.

By clicking on each square of the mosaic, you will be able to discover the creations in question and even obtain some visuals (that we already know) new products from the LEGO Star Wars range that will be released in June 2012.

Nothing very exciting, but we do with ... and that's for sure legostarwarsmosaic.com that it happens.

9509 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar 2012

My good lady, there are no more seasons: We are being thrown out of the 2012 advent calendar in May ....

In short, here is a good quality visual of what the set should be 9509 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar. On the menu, mini ships, which also seem a little more consistent than those of the 2011 calendar, a few minifigs and the Santa Maul accompanied by Snowman R2-D2.

It's not a revolution, but it will always be nice to open a box a day to find a mini-thing on which we can discuss for 24 hours ...
