When there is no more, there is still ...

francelegoboy just sent me this scan of a strange letter inserted by LEGO in the package of his order during the promotion of May 4 & 5, 2012.

And the least we can say is that at LEGO we don't make the same mistakes twice. Indeed, the mega-exclusive R2-D2 collector's poster turned out to be sold out, and LEGO simply chose to replace it with ... a second TC-14.

This gives us a good indication: The out of print poster was available in a limited series of 20.398 copies. We can therefore roughly deduce that LEGO has flooded the planet with at least 20.398 TC-14s ... which should have a large influence on its resale price in the medium term. Note that currently the minifig is sold for a little over 20 €.

Blessed are those who did not have the right to the poster ....

LEGO Batman 2 DC Super Heroes - Flash

And hop, another nice trailer of the most anticipated game of the year (ok, ok not for everyone ...).

Superb in-game images, with the return of Killer Croc, the arrival of Flash which I definitely like a lot, vehicles in spades, grandiose play areas, amazing scenery ...

9525 Pre Vizsla's Mandalorian Starfighter

Here are finally the official visuals (posted by Brickadeer on EB) of the set 9525 Pre Vizsla's Mandalorian Starfighter, and I stick to my position: I don't find it that successful, and I'm looking for the Star Wars roots on this ship.

On the other hand, good point for the system of rotation of the wings in terms of playability. By the way, LEGO could have made an effort on Pre Vizsla's saber.

Rick McCallum: Star Wars TV Show Still Coming

First of all, if you do not understand the title of this article, go tor this post from October 2011 to know everything about what is currently known (or not) about the TV series project based on the Star Wars universe.

Rick McCallum confirms to IGN that the TV series project is still in the making, that scripts have already been written, that the special effects are currently too expensive, but that within a few years this project could finally see the light of day.

Regarding the film project on Boba Fett about which Joe Johnston (director of Captain America) had expressed his desire to participate, nothing credible for the moment, Lucas would not be (yet) convinced by the project which remains despite everything a eventuality in the distant future (tongue in cheek inside).

Regarding the Star Wars 1313 mystery, Rick McCallum clearly does not wish to respond to this subject and leaves the interview. For those who have not followed, Lucasfilm has registered just about every possible domain name imaginable incorporating this strange series of 4 numbers and the word starwars. Beyond the passionate rantings of the fans, it could quite simply be another video game under the Star Wars license.

6005188 Darth Maul

It's very nice all these promotions where we are flooded with chrome minifigs, miniature Hulks, various and varied bags, but there is one that everyone has put aside a little lately: the polybag 6005188 Darth Maul

And for good reason, it was still sold for almost 40 € recently on Bricklink, which is, let's face it, a bit excessive.

And good news, an English channel, SMYTHS, currently distributes this minifigure in its stores located in Great Britain and Ireland with any purchase of a set from the LEGO Star Wars range.

The effect was immediate, the starting price for a sachet containing Darth Maul fell less than 20 € and it should drop a bit further in the next few days ... before rising as usual.

In short, if you want one and don't want to take the Eurostar, now is the time to get it ...
