In response to the numerous emails received this morning regarding the "availability" of the LEGO DC Comics 76023 The Tumbler set on the LEGO Shop, a few clarifications for anyone who is clearly concerned about the message for this set "will be shipped by September 1, 2014 "or who still have not received their order confirmation.
If you are logged in to the LEGO Shop with your VIP account, you can order this set at this address.
LEGO indicates that it is currently facing technical difficulties, and a very explicit message is displayed in the basket during the ordering process:
... We are currently experiencing technical difficulties due to an update of our system and your order may take up to 24 hours to be processed. Please note that: If your order qualifies for promotions, they will be applied, but will not be displayed at checkout.Express shipping and payment with your VIP points are not available during this period.La product availability may be inaccurate Meanwhile. You will receive your confirmation email late. It may take up to 24 hours... |
There is therefore no reason to worry, the orders will be well processed, the set is available and delivery will take place before September 1st.
Remember to look in the "Order status"From the LEGO Shop, you can follow the progress of your order. Mine is clearly indicated as"Being processed".
Update : The operation of the Shop returned to normal this morning.
As expected, the 76023 The Tumbler set is now available for identified VIP customers in the LEGO Shop.
The only downside, LEGO seems to have some technical problems with its online store and the set is announced as deliverable by September 1 without further details.
A message invoking technical difficulties "due to a system update"is also displayed during the order validation process and product availability is indicated as potentially"inaccurate"in this same message.
VIP points are not counted during the validation of the order, but they will be added to your account later.
If you are a member of the VIP program, do not forget to identify yourself to be able to order this set (Product sheet available at this address).
The good news today is that the "special edition"from the LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham video game available for pre-order at amazon.de will contain the exclusive Plastic Man minifigure.
Only the PC, PS3 and PS4 versions are affected, not the PS Vita version nor the versions for Nintendo and Microsoft consoles.
I remind you that only the cover of the game and the manual are localized in German. The game itself is in a multilingual version including French (I had already ordered the LEGO The Hobbit game from amazon.de).
The PC version is priced at € 29.99, the PS3 version is priced at € 49.99 and the PS4 version is pre-ordered at € 59.99.
Make no mistake about pre-ordering, click on the box "Special Edition (exclusive to Amazon.de)" (Click here to access the product sheet at amazon).
In any case, this is what the message I have just received from the LEGO sales department suggests, which explains to me that it was total panic in recent days, that I must not worried, LEGO will "make"and I will end up receiving one day my boxes of the set 21109 Exo-Suit ordered last August 1st on the LEGO Shop.
IF I understood the content of this message correctly, the break is therefore only temporary, contrary to what can be said everywhere, no need to go on eBay and pay for this set three times its price.
If your order is also pending processing, you should receive the same message.
Hello,
Thank you for ordering the LEGO® Robot Exo set. We are sorry that you have not received any mail from us regarding your order. Due to a slight technical problem in our computer system, a large number of emails were not sent. Our technicians are working on the problem right now and should have it fixed very soon. You can nevertheless check the status of your order by going to: http://shop.lego.com/account/orderStatus.jsp The Exo Robot surprised us with its extreme popularity and the controls turned out to be much larger than expected. The stock is currently exhausted and we are working hard to make more. The next delivery to our depot is scheduled for September 11th. If you intended to gift this set, we would be happy to send a message to your LEGO builder to explain the delay. If you wish to cancel your order, let us know and we will do it at no cost. The bank details you provided when ordering are only used for prior authorization. Your account is not debited until the parcel is sent. Please do not hesitate to contact us for any questions. Sincerely, Your LEGO Service Team |
To be honest with you, I have just returned from my vacation and I am dealing (finally calm) a little out of order with the many emails received over the past two weeks.
Many of you have written to me to point out that amazon.de currently offers very attractive prices on the Star Wars and Super Heroes (Marvel GotG) ranges.
A quick detour through Pricevortex confirms these attractive prices and I took the opportunity to place an order for the Star Wars novelties of the second semester which were still missing from my inventory. The shipping costs are reasonable (9.45 € for 8 boxes) and even if some of them are currently out of stock at amazon, I have patience to spare and I know that I do not take any risk on the subject. the quality of the packaging ...
Thank you again to all those who regularly send me the different promotions they find here and there, and if you want an instant overview of what the different European Amazon entities are offering, consider Pricevortex, that's what it is for.
I also ordered the 75058 MTT set on the LEGO Shop (102.99 €), it is cheaper than at Toys R Us (104.99 €), and shipping is free. The icing on the cake, the Mini Cooper 40109 polybag is free from 55 € purchase.
I have just received "part" of my order placed on August 1st on the LEGO Shop of two sets 21109 Exo Suit then out of stock: I received a box containing only the 40109 polybag ...
I'm stopping the fees for now, while waiting for the Tumbler to come out (76023) and sets from The Hobbit range.
