Lord of the Rings - Three is Company - Xenomurphy

What to say in front of this superb MOC of Xenomurphy, which we already know very well through its MOCs on the theme Super Heroes (see these articles on Brick Heroes), except that this gentleman masters his subject ...

The vegetation is simply perfect, the tree is arguably one of the most beautiful I have seen to date, and the slopes of the embankment are breathtaking. The very beautiful photos really showcase the work of Xenomurphy, always so attentive to the smallest detail and who delivers here a clean MOC and very pleasing to the eye. The density of foliage and vegetation on the ground is incredibly controlled.

Obviously, Xenomurphy offers on his flickr gallery many views of this MOC and you can go and spend the next twenty minutes dissecting these images, you won't be disappointed. Here is a complete MOCeur, able to offer urban or plant creations with each time a sense of volumes and astonishing detail.

Do not miss the backlit views of this MOC, they are simply sublime ...

Mr. Xenomurphy's Superhero Contest

No introduction Mr Xenomurphy, it is a high-flying MOCeur whose creations I regularly offer you on this blog (see these articles) ...

And the event of the moment is the competition organized by this gentleman with among others the presence of _Tile in the jury. The rules are complicated, the themes are numerous and we will have to respect the rules to the letter to hope to participate in this competition which already promises us beautiful creations in view of the impressive list of sizes in terms of MOCs registered to date.

Roughly speaking, the competition will take place in two stages and it will be necessary to create a sticker in 8x8 minimum and 16x16 maximum featuring a superhero according to one of the themes proposed for the first round. For the second round, it will be necessary to create a superhero headquarters, with no size limit, or a micro version of an existing building like the Wayne Manor or the Batcave for example.

Everything is explained in detail in this discussion thread, and if you want to participate, I advise you to carefully read the rules of the game.

The endowment is interesting: The big winner will be given a micro-scale version (see image above) of the famous MOC of Mr. Xenomurphy Spider-Man vs. Sandman. The second will win a superb custom made in Calin minifig from Black Spider-Man (see my photo below with the Spider-Man custom in Ultimate version).

So if you feel up to it, register here and try your luck by facing the best MOCeurs of the moment ...

Spider-Man vs. Green Goblin - A Tribute to Frank Dillane - Xenomurphy

If you follow Brick Heroes, you already know Xenomurphy ... I have already presented you here several of his MOCs on the theme of superheroes (see these tickets). He does it again with a creation that features Spider-Man and Green Goblin who are ultimately just a pretext to offer a building with impeccable execution that is full of details ...

It is on purpose that I do not put you here a general view of this MOC, I leave you the surprise of discovering this scene in its entirety.

To discover urgently, with many close-ups on MOCpages space by Xenomurphy and the general presentation of the MOC on his flickr gallery.

Beware the Lizard by Xenomurphy

A little break in this riot of photos of the Marvel 2012 novelties with this superb staging of Xenomurphy that you already know if you follow Brick Heroes. Indeed, I had already introduced you two of his most impressive accomplishments.

He's back with this extremely well-thought-out scene for which he used a fog generator and some LEDs which give this photo an incredible effect. The feeling of movement is made thanks to a clever placement of the minifigs.

To see more and discover this scene from another angle, it's on the flickr gallery from Xenomurphy that it's happening.

Superman & Young Justice vs. Brainiac by Mr Xenomurphy

Another high class MOC on the theme of super heroes by Mr Xenomurphy which I introduced to you Spiderman vs sandman in August 2011.
The announcement of the launch of the LEGO Superheroes range in 2012 has awakened the creative spirit of many MOCeurs, and we are finally rediscovering something other than Star Wars in every way ... Even if I love Star Wars, let's not get angry. not....

Here we are entitled to the very "Art Deco" building of the Daily Planet, a newspaper published in the city of Metropolis, and where Clark Kent alias Superman works in the company of Lois Lane and under the orders of the editor in chief Perry White.

And here, Superman does not face Lex Luthor or Bizzaro but a small army of robots in the pay of Brainiac, nemesis of Superman who bottled the city of Kandor, capital of Krypton. The end of this sentence doesn't mean anything if you didn't know Brainiac. Go see here to know more.

The staging is breathtaking and teeming with incredible detail. Traffic lights, manhole covers, road signs, telephone booth, everything is reconstructed and with very original techniques.

We also find two of the heroes of Young Justice, Aqualad and Superboy.
As a reminder, we will soon be entitled to the animated series Young Justice (Season 1 available on DVD) whose first season is already being broadcast in the USA since the beginning of the year and that we will discover in France at the beginning of 2012. It features Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Superboy, Artemis and Miss Martian, young super heroes in the making and seeking recognition from their Justice League elders Batman, Aquaman, Flash and Green Arrow.
