Good news for all those eagerly awaiting the release of the video game LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight : initially planned for May 29, 2026, the game's release has been brought forward to May 22, 2026 with early access logically also postponed to May 19, 2026.
Pre-orders are open on all platforms except for the Nintendo Switch 2 version, for which a release date will be announced soon.
Two editions are available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam or the Epic Games Store: the standard edition (€69,99) with the outfit The Dark Knight Returns included and the Deluxe edition (€89,99) with 3-day early access, two collections of three DLCs (Mayhem Collection & Legacy Collection) as well as the outfit The Dark Knight Returns.
The game will also be available in a physical version, but no bonuses, polybags, or new minifigures have been announced yet. Pre-ordering either of the two available versions only grants the "The Dark Knight Returns"to be used in the game:
Good news for fans of LEGO and the Animal Crossing New Horizons video game on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, the free version 3.0 update of the game is now available and it allows them to enjoy LEGO items that allow them to furnish their interior using brick-based furniture and wallpaper.
Clothing is also available and can be purchased at Nook's Cranny. Various color combinations can be chosen for maximum customization of the environment.

I would like to remind you that the four LEGO sets planned in the DC range from March 1, 2026 will allow you to unlock additional content in the video game: the gold outfit delivered with the logo as well as the three Batmobiles in gold "Gold Variant" versions will be playable via a QR code provided in these boxes.

Good news for fans of LEGO and the Animal Crossing: New Horizons video game on Nintendo Switch! The next free game update, available from January 15, 2026, will allow players to enjoy LEGO items that can be used to furnish their homes with brick-based furniture and wallpaper. Clothing will also be available, and these items will be for purchase at Nook's Cranny. Players will be able to choose from various color combinations for maximum personalization of their surroundings.
This collaboration between Nintendo and LEGO will be available both in the free 3.0 update on the Nintendo Switch console and in the enhanced paid version of the game planned for the Nintendo Switch 2 console.
So the cycle is complete: we already had LEGO Animal Crossing sets, we'll have LEGO in the Animal Crossing game, and we'll undoubtedly have LEGO Animal Crossing sets based on the LEGO available in the Animal Crossing video game. Simple, effective, the marketing loop is unstoppable.
LEGO took advantage of Gamescom 2025, currently taking place in Cologne, Germany, to announce the LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight video game, and the manufacturer logically went all out with a stand dedicated to this game, planned for 2026.
Visitors can try out the game, enjoy the decorations with giant minifigures and a life-size Batmobile, and get a small souvenir of their visit to the stand.
Let's not get carried away, no collector's set or exclusive minifig, we know that LEGO has really calmed down on this subject in recent years, those who have spent two hours in the queue to enjoy the proposed animation simply leave with the pretty "collector's" bag that you can discover below. It's always better than nothing.
