Tom Bombadil is the eternally forgotten of the various adaptations of the Lord of the Rings trilogy and Peter Jackson justified his ousting from the cast by the very limited impact of the character on the unfolding of the story.

Many fans, however, regret that this interesting character, on whom the ring has no influence or effect and who helps Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin to get out of a bad situation, has not entitled to at least a brief appearance.

If you follow the blog, you know that LEGO and Marvel are currently working to create a buzz around the upcoming release of the highly anticipated LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game (See these other articles).

Regularly, Marvel reveals some of the "Variant Covers"which will dress up some comics to be released in September.

Here are two new creations by Leonel Castellani with a tribute to Steve Ditko's Spider-Man who will occupy the cover page of the next Mighty Avengers # 1 as well as a tribute to the work of Jim Lee who will dress the comic Uncanny Avengers # 12.

Here is the first list of sets planned for the end of 2013.

The and 79013 Lake Town Chase is known, it was officially presented at the last San Diego Comic Con.

For the rest, we will have to wait a little longer to know the exact contents of these boxes.

Blake Baer aka Blake's Baericks is in good shape and he proves it once again with this creation presented during the Brickfair VA 2013 convention.

The young 16-year-old MOCeur, associated for the occasion with Jack Bittner, another brick artist, offers an imposing version of Erebor, the citadel of the dwarves occupied for a time by Smaug, the greedy dragon.

The Simpsons have already been to LEGOLAND, or rather to LEGO LAND, even if the park in question is a cover for toxic waste illegally buried by Mr. Burns ... The constructions on display behave very strangely in this park. ..

We find this park in two episodes of the animated series: the 15th episode of the 14th season as well as the 16th episode of the 20th season.

There is also another theme park largely inspired by the LEGO universe, the BLOCKOLAND seen in episode 15 of season 12. This park is based on the BLOCKO brand, a parody of LEGO which makes many appearances in the series, especially during E4, the great convention dedicated to video games in Springfield.
