LEGO today officially unveils a new box, the reference 40501 The Wooden Duck, which will be exclusively marketed from June 22 in the store of the LEGO House located in Billund. Public price: 599 DKK or around 80 €.

This box of 621 pieces, the first in a new series of sets entitled LEGO House Limited Editions which will showcase significant products in the history of the LEGO Group, features a reproduction of the wooden toy manufactured and marketed in the 30s by the founder of the LEGO group, Ole Kirk Christiansen.

It should be noted that LEGO only sold wooden toys between 1932 and 1947 before offering an assortment of products also including plastic toys and then permanently withdrawing wooden products from its catalog in the 60s.

After the false start of yesterday that saw the Architecture set 21037 LEGO House appear very briefly online on the official store, LEGO announces today that the three boxes exclusive to the store located in the LEGO House in Billund will go on sale online at the beginning of May 2020 (no precise date ).

The three references below will therefore be available and they will be sold at the public price in the Store of the LEGO House:

Registration for the LEGO Inside Tour 2020 are open so you can choose one of the four sessions planned for next year to take a tour of Billund, participate in some guided tours, meet several designers, enjoy the LEGOLAND park and the LEGO House and return with an exclusive set that you can choose to keep as a souvenir of this experience or sell in secret to amortize the cost of the operation.

You will have to spend nearly € 2000 to participate in this LEGO Inside Tour, not including travel costs and any additional hotel nights to be expected at the start and end of your stay depending on your flight schedules.
