Upcoming LEGO DC Comics sets: rumors / info on planned boxes

If you are already fed up with The LEGO Batman Movie universe and are eager to see the LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes line up again, here's something to give you hope with three references that would be planned for the start of this season. next year.

Below, the supposed detail of each of these sets with an illustration of some visuals of characters in their version seen in the video game LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham.

Upcoming LEGO DC Comics sets: rumors / info on planned boxes

In the first set, Lobo aka The Main Man or even Mister machete, the ultra-violent and slightly crazy bounty hunter, would be accompanied by at least one other character, in this case Superman. the inevitable vehicle would be Lobo's Spacehog, the armed flying motorcycle that serves as his mode of travel. As a bonus, but to be confirmed, Krypto the SuperDog ...

In the second set, we would find Lex Luthor, Batman, Wonder Woman, Cheetah and Firestorm. To accompany the whole, Lex Luthor would have a mech a priori more imposing than the one seen in the set 6862 Superman vs. Power Armor Lex released in 2012.

The third set would allow us to get the Cyborg, Flash, Reverse Flash and Killer Frost minifigs. Two vehicles would be provided: a helicopter for Cyborg and a car for Killer Frost.

None of this is confirmed as of yet, although the source of the rumor has been proven to be reliable on numerous occasions in the past.

Anyway in the end, a few boxes with a lot of new characters and (a little) less Batman, it's always good to take ...

Egghead's Food Fight

Collector friends of The LEGO Batman Movie sets, it seems your quest doesn't end with the five sets scheduled for June 1st.

We are already talking about at least two more sets to come with a Batman side, his Bat Dune Buggy and Captain Boomerang. The craft in question makes an appearance in the book dedicated to the making-of of the film. I can't find the scene from the movie in which this vehicle probably makes a (brief) appearance.

According to the same rumor, a box titled "Egghead's Food Fight"would be planned with the mech piloted by the villainous Egghead seen in the TV series of 66 (above) and possibly Condiment King in guest stars, logically in the version seen in the film (below).

None of this has obviously been confirmed for the moment, the only certainty being that the The LEGO Batman Movie range will be expanded with a few new references early next year ...

Rumor of the day: possible discontinuation of the LEGO Nexo Knights range (or not)

A few lines were enough in the new issue of the magazine Blocks so that the rumor spreads like wildfire and is transformed over the articles published here or there in virtual certainty.

The LEGO Nexo Knights range would be discontinued without notice as early as next summer. Finished. No more sets, not even those initially planned to be marketed next June and presented during the last Toy Fairs.

All those who praised this range at length of "reviews" praising its creativity, its originality, the modernity of the design of the sets, the interactivity with the Merlok 2.0 application, etc ... suddenly find it a slew of flaws which would almost justify this decision...

More seriously, it is anyway only a rumor without a source and identified as such by the magazine which propagates it in its pages.

And then in the end, if this range discreetly disappears from the shelves before the end of the year, sooner or later it will be replaced by another internal LEGO license and that's good. You inevitably end up getting bored of everything and two years is already very good for this type of range which is only held by the additional marketing content offered by LEGO (TV series, videos) and the advertising that the manufacturer wants. do to boost sales.

Nothing and no one indicated that this range would survive for at least three years, this is not an established rule anyway and LEGO is still the sole master of the future of its products. If the range stops, we'll get over it.

The sets of the second semester presented during the New York Toy Fair are likely already in production. If the rumor is confirmed, these few boxes will therefore be marketed a priori, possibly with some geographical restrictions.

If the range is suddenly stopped, I will then have a little thought for all the publishers of various and varied books around this universe who have already announced their end-of-year publications ...

Time will tell...

lego dimensions the end maybe but not sure but still guys

Remember, in 2015, Warner released the LEGO Dimensions game, developed by TT Games, and one of the game's producers, Mark Warburton, said in an interview that new expansions extending the lifespan of the concept would be available until 2018, i.e. three years of additional packs, characters and levels.

Today, what remains of this promise? If we believe Bricks To Life, not much.

The site in question claims to hold from a (really very) reliable source that Warner and TT Games intend to quietly let the game die by stopping its development and delaying as much as possible the releases planned for this year to create an illusion until what it's starting to show.

In short, a somewhat pretentious producer and not a visionary for two cents therefore got carried away by saying two years ago: "...We have a three year plan at the moment and we've got no intention of stopping there ..."

We'll get over it, all at the end. And TT Games will now be able to focus on upcoming titles based on The LEGO Ninjago Movie, The LEGO Movie 2, etc ... rather than taking us out of the Story Packs barely six levels at 45 €.
