We also discover the mention Special The Hobbit Trilogy Preview Set on the 79001 Escape from Mirkwood Spiders and 79004 Barrel Escape sets, which in my opinion means that these sets will not be released this year, but only next year.

The animated short LEGO Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Out, already broadcast on Cartoon Network in the USA was also offered on the UK version of the channel this morning. This Speederbike inspired by the one seen in theEpisode VI Return of the Jedi and proposed by Brix, a Eurobricks forumer, is unquestionably very successful. But what makes the work of this MOCeur even more interesting is that the machine was designed using only parts from the set's inventory. 9496 Desert Skiff (213 pieces) released this summer.

Compromises were obviously made to remain within the framework of the challenge imposed by the MOCeur, but the result remains very convincing thanks to the creativity implemented. I have seen much worse Speederbike MOCs than this ...

Note the red frame on both sets 79001 Fleeing from the Mirkwood Spiders and 79004 Barrel Escape which could announce a postponed official release or a temporary cancellation of these sets and would confirm what I told you a few days ago about the recutting of the cinematographic saga by Peter Jackson (see this article).
