Okay, so things are going: The top 10 most successful entries have been drawn. Difficult to choose 10, I would have liked to reward more people.

To be clear, the entries were judged on the basis of the photos provided, with all the issues we encountered with quality, sharpness, etc ...

That being said, the selection criteria are based on the competition rules: Respect for the theme, construction of the sphere (at least what we see in the photo), choice of machines / vessels and the minifigure, originality of the work presented.

The 10 selected entries have now entered the final deliberation phase. I will keep you posted on the rest in the days to come.

Who says LEGO Store, says LEGO Store Calendar and France now has this double-sided leaflet which summarizes each month the activities offered in the LEGO stores and which presents current promotions.

Here is (finally) the first French calendar which announces the official opening on October 18 of the LEGO Store located in the SO OUEST shopping center in Levallois-Perret.

On the menu, VIP points doubled during the month of October, the TC-14 minifig offered for any purchase of products from the LEGO Star Wars range with a minimum of 55 € (from October 18 to 31), a LEGO surprise offered to children dressed up for Halloween from October 26 to 31, 2012 and a LEGO Monster Fighters animation in store from October 18 to 31.

The price war is raging between the different players in online sales and amazon intends to get everyone to agree.

It took a few hours for Amazon to align itself to the nearest cent on the prices of the two sets offered. discounted on fnac.com :

The and 9472 Attack on Weathertop is therefore at 46.87 € on amazon.fr
The and 9473 The Mines of Moria is also aligned with 65.07 € on amazon.fr

Small clarification in passing, we modified the method of recovering prices on pricevortex.com so that the comparator indicates as a priority the price charged by amazon if the merchant has the set in stock or in pre-order, rather than systematically indicating the cheapest price. Indeed, some marketplace sellers lower prices but compensate with excessive shipping costs to escape the commission that they must pay back to Amazon.

Photos of the new minifigs in the LEGO The Hobbit range have just surfaced.

At Brick Fanatics, we are told that they come from a certain Fernando RT who would be part of the "LEGO Club Mexico" ... And the groundhog ...

In short, we therefore find a minifig of a female elf who we do not really know who it is, Bombur, Gloin, Oin and Dwalin.

Regarding the minifigure of the elf, it would not be Tauriel, played on the screen by Evangeline Lilly who has rather brown hair. Perhaps it is Galadriel embodied in the Lord of the Rings trilogy by Cate Blanchett and that Peter Jackson would have decided to appear in the film, even if this character is not present in Tolkien's book. Cate Blanchett is in any case credited to film casting on imdb and appears in the movie trailer.
