No introduction Mr Xenomurphy, it is a high-flying MOCeur whose creations I regularly offer you on this blog (see these articles) ...
And the event of the moment is the competition organized by this gentleman with among others the presence of _Tile in the jury. The rules are complicated, the themes are numerous and we will have to respect the rules to the letter to hope to participate in this competition which already promises us beautiful creations in view of the impressive list of sizes in terms of MOCs registered to date.
Roughly speaking, the competition will take place in two stages and it will be necessary to create a sticker in 8x8 minimum and 16x16 maximum featuring a superhero according to one of the themes proposed for the first round. For the second round, it will be necessary to create a superhero headquarters, with no size limit, or a micro version of an existing building like the Wayne Manor or the Batcave for example.
Everything is explained in detail in this discussion thread, and if you want to participate, I advise you to carefully read the rules of the game.
The endowment is interesting: The big winner will be given a micro-scale version (see image above) of the famous MOC of Mr. Xenomurphy Spider-Man vs. Sandman. The second will win a superb custom made in Calin minifig from Black Spider-Man (see my photo below with the Spider-Man custom in Ultimate version).
So if you feel up to it, register here and try your luck by facing the best MOCeurs of the moment ...
After a few weeks of famine, finally a major MOC in the Lord of the Rings universe with these Mines of Moria reproduced by Elander, member ofSteine Imperium.
Superb architectural reconstruction of the rocks and walls and other cornices of the place with many details and a really successful staircase with its damaged steps.
Meeting on this topic at IDS to see other photos of this MOC.
Toys R Us Hong Kong has just added some LEGO ads, two of which you had already seen on these blogs if you follow: At the end of May, you could discover on Hoth Bricks advertising broadcast in Germany featuring two sets from the Star Wars The Old Republic game universe 9500 Sith Fury-Class Interceptor & 9497 Republic Striker-Class Starfighter.
At the beginning of June, on Lord of the Brick, you were able to discover advertisement promoting the Lord of the Rings LEGO set 9473 The Mines of Moria.
Today we discover a new video that features the sets 9515 Malevolence et 9498 Saesee Tiin's Starfighter. The resolution is very low, and unfortunately we don't see much. I would replace the video if a higher quality version appears.
Nice flyer presenting the LEGO Batman 2 DC Super Heroes video game uploaded by noriart on his flickr gallery. We learn a lot of things about the game and it's very well done graphically.
Click on the images to view them in large format.
The Super Heroes themed MOCs aren't jostling at the moment.
No UCS Quinjet or 5000-piece Helicarrier, to believe that the subject does not inspire many people and that the LEGO Super Heroes range is more for collectors and and does not really inspire MOCers.
On the other hand, this universe does not have as many charismatic and iconic devices as Star Wars ...
Anyway, during this time _Tile continues his work on the mini-machin-racers-mobiles, and here is the latest model available on the streets of Gotham City. You will tell me that there are lots of Batmobiles, flickr, MOCpages, and Brickshelf and you are right.
But find me some cool Batmobiles, assembled with new / clean parts, photographed elsewhere than on a checkered tablecloth or on a faded parquet floor and I'll pay you a shot at Fana'Briques next Saturday.
In the meantime, you can also take a look at the somewhat messy but absolutely crazy Joker Truck offered by ...nogoodnamesleftyoubasturds.
