Patience is the mother of savings in the LEGO world. And Toys R Us will make some happy with a valid promotion from 28 May to 17 June 2012 which will allow you to obtain the exclusive minifig of Darth Maul in polybag (6005188) distributed at the last New York Toy Fair 2012.

Offer is limited to 2000 first customers on all Toys R Us stores and applies to any purchase of a LEGO Star Wars set, no amount limit. A pretty good deal, but we will have to fight, to be sure to get this minifigure which was rare until now and which was negotiated at a high price on eBay or Bricklink ... If you followed, you remember that LEGO consulted its VIP clients in July 2011, to make a selection of minifigs to be grouped together in a collector's set.

The result of the poll was rather disappointing, with five minifigs from series 3 in the end, and the surprising absence of some very popular minifigs from other series.

So here is this set, with original packaging, found by an EB forumer at the Disney LEGO Store for $ 14.99.

On the minifig side, the elf and the Gorilla Suit Guy are unchanged from their original version. The space villain has a leg of a different color, the Fisherman has a black beanie and silver fish (instead of Sand Green) and the mummy has a golden scorpion which replaces the red version of the 3 series.

No information yet on the availability of this set in France, but it will certainly be on sale in the LEGO Shop very soon.

The opportunity to discover the 4 superb minifigs in this set 9476 The Orc Forge to the well-supplied inventory that will appeal to MOCeurs, to see the friend Lurtz come out from under the floor, to see the forge mechanism in action, to discover the use that has been made of the luminous brick present, and to tell yourself that it's still a great set that will allow with multiple copies to create a forge worthy of the name and a small army of evil orcs ....

Artifex does it again with the flagship set of the LEGO Lord of the Rings range: 9474 The Battle Of Helm's Deep. Not much to say, except that with this video you will discover the whole set and from all angles.

MOCeurs will appreciate being able to discover the inventory of the set thanks to the stop-motion. The meager features are also shown in action, a crumbling wall, a platform that ejects the minifigs ...

If we remove the price parameter, here is a nice fortress with some minifigs. If we add the price, which exceeds 140 €, it is less obvious ....

The sets of the LEGO Lord of the Rings range are finally listed at amazon.fr. We therefore find the entire range with the exception of the set 9476 The Orc Forge which will be available in priority on the LEGO Shop and in stores (Toys R Us).

There is also a strange reference, the set 3920 from the LEGO Games range which is titled The Hobbit. No doubt a board game like LEGO already offers some, with a few pawns, a few pieces, complicated rules and games designed to last a few minutes.
