The buzz is well organized, after the official visuals unveiled on Eurobricks, here is a photo of the box of set 21103 Back to the Future Time Machine published on 1000steine.de which reveals the three variants of the DeLorean that will be possible to assemble using the parts of the set.
Another photo of the same side of the box has been posted on Instagram, and all this undoubtedly indicates to us that we are only a few hours / days of several reviews of this set which will be able to finish convincing (or not) the undecided ones ...
LEGO has just unveiled the official visuals of the Cuusoo 21103 Back to the Future Time Machine set via Eurobricks.
401 pieces, 2 minifigs (Marty McFly and Doc Emmet Brown), and a DeLorean which is not unanimous among fans. But I'm already predicting that the set will be out of stock a few hours after it hits the LEGO Shop ...
Availability scheduled for July 18 on the LEGO Shop. No info yet about the official rate for France at the time of writing.
This is the site bricknews.co.uk which reveals via the visual above what the LEGO Back to the Future ™ set will ultimately be, thus answering all the fans' questions and reassuring all those, including me, who thought that the set would not contain minifigs:
A vehicle whose instructions will reproduce the three different versions of the DeLorean seen in the episodes of the trilogy Back To The Future.
2 minifigs: MartyMcFly and Doc Emmet Brown.
A booklet provided with lots of info and photos relating to the BTTF trilogy.
A retail price of £ 34.99 (For Great Britain).
Following K's comment, here is the Danish television video presenting the Cuusoo team and various prototypes including the DeLorean one.
It was in December 2012 that Tim Courtney presented in a video summary of the results of the summer 2012 review the first model in preliminary version of the DeLorean LEGO inspired by the m.togami project. Again, the vehicle was presented alone, without minifigs or accessories.
From there to draw the conclusion that LEGO plans to market a set containing only the vehicle, it is only a step that the community was quick to take.
Obviously, the set has not yet been officially presented, it is better to remain cautious and hope that LEGO has taken care to include MartyMcFly and Doc Emmet Brown in this set which is already generating disappointment among LEGO enthusiasts but that the fans of the saga Back To The Future fond of derivative products and goodies of all kinds await impatiently.
Below is the video in question.
(Thanks to Padawanwaax in the comments)
The 4th set to come out of the LEGO Cuusoo initiative makes its first appearance on the LEGO Store Calendar in July.
The vehicle is offered in its final version on the visual above, but without minifig. No indication of the exact price or contents of the box at this point, but we should find out more very soon.
The set's launch date is July 18, 2013. The set will be on sale exclusively in the LEGO Shop and in the LEGO Stores.
You can still play the seven mistakes game by comparing this visual with the one from the project presented on Cuusoo by m.togami in 2011.
