FBTB has uploaded a photo gallery of the 79013 The Lake Town Chase set officially presented at Comic Con.

If we have already been able to take a closer look at this set, here are some close-ups on the minifigs of Thorin, Bard, du Master of Lake Town, the guard and Bilbo with their alternate faces.

To start the day off right, a small homemade photo of the magnificent minifigure of Bard the bowman (The Archer) from the The Hobbit set 79013 Lake Town Chase who will be accompanied by Bilbo, Thorin, the Lake town master and Lake town guard.

The character will be played on screen by Luke Evans (Fast & Furious 6) and will appear in the next two installments of the trilogy: The Desolation of Smaug et The Battle of the Five Armies.

LEGO has just unveiled a novelty in the second wave of The Hobbit range, scheduled for December 2013.

The set which bears the name "79013 Lake Town Chase" contains 334 pieces and 5 minifigs (Bilbo, Thorin, Bard, The Master of Lake Town and a guard). The action is obviously happening in Esgaroth.

The advertised retail price is US $ 49.99.

This is the set whose official presentation is scheduled for Saturday at Comic Con.

LEGO has uploaded a very cool brickfilm made for the manufacturer by the team at BrotherhoodWorkshop which tells us in its own way the youth of Bard the Bowman and the reasons for his popularity among the inhabitants of Esgaroth.

Beyond its excellent scenario, this film is technically very impressive: It features many minifigs and the reconstruction of Esgaroth is so successful that I still wonder how many boxes in the set 79013 Lake Town Chase it would take to achieve the same result ...
