the hobbit battle five armies

The new trailer for the third installment of The Hobbit cinematic saga is online.

These spectacular images contrast once again with the contents of the boxes which are inspired by them: The "battle" LEGO version of the set 79017 The Battle of Five Armies definitely does not make the weight ...

The and 79015 Witch-king Battle is doing pretty well, the essential is there and we also find the scene in this trailer.

The and 79016 Lake-town Attack comes out about as far as it is combined with the set 79013 Lake-town Chase.

The and 79018 The Lonely Mountain does not count, it is based on Desolation of Smaug.

Release in theaters on December 10th.

removed visual

Update: Images removed at the request of LEGO, the rights holders of The Hobbit license are obviously very annoyed by the posting of these visuals which were not to be revealed before October 15.

First visuals of new LEGO The Hobbit, based on the third installment of Peter Jackson's trilogy titled "The Battle of the Five Armiess ", still not officially unveiled by LEGO and expected this fall.

Above, the set 79016 Attack on Lake-town (Retail price US $ 29.99): 313 pieces and 5 minifigs that can be considered an extension of the set 79013 Lake-town Chase released in 2014. It features Bard the Bowman, his son Bain, Tauriel and two orcs. Without forgetting the giant arch in the "Spring Loaded Shooter"...

Below, the set 79015 Witch-king Battle (Public price US $ 14.99) with 101 pieces and 3 new minifigs: Galadriel, Elrond (100% new version different from those already released in the polybag 5000202 and in the set 79006 Council of Elrond and different from that of the LEGO The Hobbit video game) and the Witch-king of Angmar, phosphorescent as announced by the various accounts of Toy Fair start of the year ...

At the bottom, the set 79017 The Battle of Five Armies (Retail price US $ 59.99) with 472 coins, 7 minifigs including Dain Ironfoot, Legolas, Thorin, Azog, Bard (SDCC 2014 version?), Two orcs, a catapult and an eagle.

Bard the bowmanAfter the minifig of Collector Guardians of the Galaxy, Comic Con in San Diego also has a surprise in store for fans of The Hobbit trilogy and the eponymous range offered by LEGO.

The exclusive minifigure of Bard the bowman (played on screen by Luke Evans) will be offered during Comic Con (Thursday, July 24) to a few hundred lucky people.

This is a different version from the one present in The Hobbit set  79013 Lake town chase released at the end of 2013.

Around 1750 copies of this minifigure will be distributed.

Two other exclusive minifigs are planned: A character from the DC Comics universe (Zur-En-Arrh) and a character based on the house license The LEGO Movie(Uni-Kitty).

Regarding the system for designating the winners, it seems that LEGO intends to remove the distribution of tickets in favor of faster participation on an iPad which will immediately determine whether the person has won or lost. Each participant's badge will be scanned to limit each visitor to one daily attempt.

Do not hesitate to follow the news of Comic Con on Hoth Bricks et Brick Heroes, I post on the three blogs according to the topic concerned.

polybag lake town offered giant casino

Notice to latecomers who have not yet purchased the LEGO The Hobbit video game or the polybag LEGO The Hobbit 30216 Lake Town Guard: Until May 24, you can get both for the low price of 39 € at Géant.

At this price, it's the Nintendo 3DS version, but the offer also applies a priori to the Wii U and pS3 versions for 49 €.

In the polybag 30216, the minifig supplied is identical to that present in the set 79013 Lake Town Chase released at the end of 2013. A catapult and a storage space for the bow and its quiver complete the contents of the bag.

LEGO The Hobbit

As you have noticed, since the release of the LEGO The Hobbit video game featuring the action of the first two films of the cinematographic trilogy, information relating to the future of the LEGO range based on this license is rather scarce.

LEGO will undoubtedly take advantage of the next San Diego Comic Con to unveil the content of the four sets of which we only know the references for the moment and for which the descriptions published so far remain (deliberately?) Very elusive.

The next wave of sets announced for October 2014 will therefore consist of the following references (The names of the boxes are provisional names subject to change):

79015  (101 pieces - Retail price US $ 14.99)
This set will include the Witch King of Angmar (phosphorescent minifigure), Elrond with visually similar armor to the version of the 5000202 polybag released in 2012 & Galadriel.

79016 Lake Town Bell Tower (313 pieces - Retail price US $ 29.99)
This set will be an extension of the set 79013 Lake Town Chase released in 2013 in the form of three buildings with in particular the minifigure of Bain, the son of Bard.

79017 Battle of Five Armies (471 pieces - Retail price US $ 59.99)
Dain Ironfoot will be in this set. This box will probably come with a handful of Elves and Orcs.

79018 The Lonely Mountain (858 pieces - Retail price US $ 129.99)
The Smaug figure will be in this box, it should look like the Castle version of the dragon seen in the set 70403 Dragon Mountain. Bilbo will logically be present in this set along with other characters. This playset will replicate part of the interior of Erebor with Smaug's treasure and theArkenstone.

These four boxes should mark the end of the LEGO The Hobbit line, and apart from perhaps a polybag for the Blu-ray release of the trilogy, LEGO shouldn't offer anything more. The range will then consist of 14 boxes and 5 polybags to which is added the exclusive set sold at the last Comic Con (Micro-Scale Bag End). Barring a last minute surprise, this range will not have been entitled to a very large collector's box as is the case for the LOTR range.

The fate of the LEGO Lord of the Rings range also seems to be definitely sealed. In the end, we were entitled to 12 boxes, including a large collector's set (10237 The Tower of Orthanc) and 3 polybags.

To conclude, a little humorous video uploaded by LEGO.
