You probably remember this operation organized in partnership between LEGO, Shell and Ferrari which took place all over the world, but not in France.
I have good news for you (us): This initiative is finally arriving in our regions and from October 1 to December 31, 2013 you will be able to obtain a polybag containing one of the vehicles shown in the image above against a full fuel (20 liters minimum) or 5 € purchase in store or the purchase of a lubricant from the Shell Hélix range and the modest sum of 2 €.
If you are not a regular customer of Shell stations or you cycle, know that these polybags can also be purchased in Shell stores for the very reasonable price of € 5.90 without participating in the promotion and within the limit of stocks available.
On the program, six polybags that should delight fans of the prancing horse brand with from left to right on the visual above:
- 30191 Scuderia Ferrari Truck
- 30192 Ferrari F40
- 30190 150 Ferrari Italia
- 30194 458 Ferrari Italia
- 30195 Ferrai FXX
- 30193 Ferrari 250GT Berlinetta
I'm going to try to keep it short by bringing together two LEGO pieces of information that won't change the face of the world but that join the many news around the brand that are blooming these days.
We are never so well served as by ourselves. LEGO is in the process of producing a "soberly titled" house documentaryBeyond The Brick: A LEGO Brickumentary"whose release is scheduled for 2014 and which will be directed by two big names in the sector: Daniel Junge, Oscar winner in 2012 for the documentary saving face, and Kief Davidson Oscar nominated in 2013 for the documentary Open heartsystem. (See the article on deadline.com)
On the menu, LEGO, AFOLs, regulars at LEGO conventions, artists who create with LEGO, famous fans of the LEGO brand and of course children, who as everyone knows, love LEGOs.
We are probably moving more towards an infomercial all in the glory of LEGO than towards a real documentary in the strict sense of the term. The announcement of the launch of this documentary has already had its small effect within the community of LEGO fans who undoubtedly sees the opportunity to be highlighted by the brand to the general public. We will see what place will occupy the AFOLs who do a lot for the promotion of the brand, in particular by exhibiting their creations at conventions, by offering product reviews, etc ... Discover the point of view of LEGO on everything that revolves around of his brand perhaps extremely interesting.
To be continued, the film featuring the young ninjas of the Ninjago range, a big success with the best range launch ever recorded at LEGO (2011), which has just found its director in the person of Charlie Bean, already at the helm of the animated series Tron: Uprising, and which will be produced in particular by Chris Miller and Phil Lord, the two directors of the next film The LEGO Movie. While writing the scenario, we find the brothers Dan and Kevin Hageman, already authors on the animated series Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu et The LEGO Movie. You follow ?
Theatrical release or Direct to DVD ? I do not know. But the Ninjago range being back in 2014 with a few sets (See this article), it could well be that the license reconnects with its fans of the first hour and with success, ensuring the filling of cinemas.
The place might not ring a bell to you, but Ted Sandyman's Watermill is definitely present in Hobbiton: It stealthily appears in theExtended Edition first episode of the Lord of the Rings trilogy (The Fellowship of the Ring) when Gandalf arrives in Hobbiton to celebrate Bilbo's birthday: The old magician walks over a bridge with Frodo and the Sandyman's Mill is at, the exit of the bridge on the right (See screenshot below).
Cyrille alias TheBrickAvenger gives us his interpretation of the place with beautiful construction techniques, a very neat presentation, a beautiful photo and a blue door like in the film ...
To see more, congratulate him, and in the process try to steal some of his ideas for your MOCs, go to his BrickShelf gallery, or his flickr gallery.
We've known for several months now that at least one additional character and feature pack will be available for the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game: EB Games is offering the above DLC for any pre-order.
I took the opportunity to add the visual below on which we discover from left to right three of the characters in question: Winter Soldier, Symbiote Spider-Man and Hawkeye Classic.
The image is truncated and we can assume from the colors of the slide on the far left that the Dark Phoenix image was at this location ...
In short, we have not finished discovering new playable characters in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, to unlock with your controller or with your wallet.
Other DLC packs are undoubtedly to be expected, if you come across an interesting info concerning the characters provided in DLC, and therefore inaccessible in the base game, do not hesitate to share them in the comments.

It is the first French MOCeur to have the honor of being invited in the program Beyond the Brick hosted by Joshua Hanlon and Matthew Kay: Jimmy alias 6 Kyubi6 was interviewed (in English) for nearly 45 minutes by the two hosts of this program which highlights the best current MOCeurs.
If you are fluent in English, grab a packet of crisps, make yourself comfortable and watch episode 85 of this show broadcast on YouTube, you will learn more about Jimmy's different MOCs or his sources of inspiration. It's easy to follow even though Joshua Hanlon's accent is really strong.
Hoping that Jimmy is only the first of a long list of French MOCeurs invited in Beyond the Brick, well done to him for this well-deserved spotlight.
Find all the MOCs presented in the video on the flickr gallery by 6Kyubi6.
