The bag of the day offered by The Sun newspaper in Great Britain is the 30161 Batmobile. Huw posts a photo of the vehicle mounted on brick set, and fans of Hot Wheels cars will be in for a treat ... The craft only looks like a Batmobile from a distance anyway.
Apparently, it's the big rush on these bagged sets like every year, and resellers did not wait to flood bricklink of these mini sets ... and given the quantities offered by some merchants, we can tell that the newsstands have been robbed by hordes of guys anxious to make a little profit ....
Obviously I ordered mine from Bricklink, as usual when it comes to these promotional sets. I dream that one day we too could flood Bricklink with sets offered with one of our national newspapers ... just to share the pleasure of being able to earn a little money on the backs of a few Englishmen or a few Americans.
I will had already spoken about it in March 2012, the 6873 Spiderman's Doc Ock Ambush set will be officially inspired by the Ultimate Spider-Man animated series.
Marvel has uploaded a clip of the episode to YouTube that will see Spider-Man first meet Octopus ....
The contents of set 6873 are probably there somewhere ....
The official mini-site thelordoftherings.lego.com has just been updated with a second set presented in moving images and video by the designer. The video is worth its weight in gold, Martin Klotz the designer in question, seems under the influence of Sauron and he puts all his conviction to try to convince us of the playability of the set 9472 Attack on Weathertop. It's almost hilarious.
Just one thing, that LEGO stops misleading the youngest with its animations, the legs of the Hobbits do NOT move. No need to make them take impractical poses in promotional events. Already the minifigs whose legs are articulated are presented in impossible positions ...
All the reviews that we can read on the different sites / blogs / forums are generally carried out by AFOLs, always demanding, often complacent and sometimes a little mono-manic ...
Lord of the Rings fan site, TheOneRing.net, presents a first review of the 9470 Shelob Attacks set with a different tone because it was written by a guy who admits not having touched a box of LEGO for at least 10 years. Suddenly, his opinion is more consumer / player oriented which is rather interesting.
Moreover, he notes, and he is the only one to do so with appreciable candor, that the legs of the Hobbits minifigs are not articulated, limiting their mobility.
AFOLs already know that this is the case on the short version of the minifig legs, but I don't see anyone complaining about it now when LEGO could make the effort to offer a slightly more mobile version instead of laying us down minifigs with which it will be difficult to stage classic situations, such as the gang of Hobbits fleeing in front of some bellicose orcs ... After all, in the cinematographic saga, the troop spends more time running than 'to stand stupidly in the middle of nowhere ...

As we do what we can with what we have, here is a new opportunity to earn something on Brick Heroes this time around. I also warmly thank Eric alias really nice which largely contributes to the endowment, it wears its nickname well. I specify that the prizes are offered without any participation from anyone, except suspicious and myself.
So as not to disadvantage those who hate / hate / flee Facebook, the same prizes are to be won on the Brick Heroes facebook page and on the blog directly.
So for facebook, become a fan of the Brick Heroes page before May 31, 2012 at midnight and 3 winners will be drawn. For the blog, post at least one comment on one of the articles using your real email address (it is not published) before May 31, 2012 at midnight and 3 winners will be drawn. There is no point in spamming comments, just one comment is enough to register for the draw.
As you can see in the image, three prizes are to be won on each of the supports: 1 x 30160 Batman Jetski and 2 x 30165 Hawkeye.
Good luck to everyone.
I say it again: I wish I could do more, I work diligently on the subject, and I sincerely thank you for being faithful to the blog.
