View currently for sale on eBay (Click here), Homer Simpson's minifigure in final version. So far we've only been able to get pictures of minifigs featuring Homer's head, but the torso and legs were from other existing minifigs.

Homer is here obviously in work clothes and while I'm not totally convinced by the print of the shirt sleeves on the arms, I love his tie!

Here we are: Here are the first two minifigs from the LEGO The Simpsons range, Homer Simpsons and Ned Flanders, already listed on eBay (Click here) by the Mexican seller who also offers Flash minifigure and some other new features for 2014.

If we consider that the information we have obtained so far is correct, these minifigs should soon be available in the form of sachets similar to those of the series of collectible minifigs (See this article).

Regarding the design, we had to expect this type of solution, to stick to the physique of the characters. I'm not sure what to think of the end result. What is certain is that it will be easy to guess blindly what is in each sachet ...

When Guillermo Del Toro tackles the credits of the special Halloween episode of The Simpsons, the result is a bit ... crazy, and that's saying something.

Instead of adding a few touches reminiscent of this particular time of the year in the usual credits of the series, Del Toro completely revisited it in his own way.

Things are getting clearer regarding the LEGO The Simpsons range with a confirmation of the release in May 2014 of what we can consider as the series 13 of Collectible Minifigures (LEGO Reference 71005), dedicated exclusively to the characters of the series.

16 sachets in the usual size containing 16 of the inhabitants of Springfield including Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, Apu, Chief Wiggum, Moe, Itchy and Scratchy and a few others ...

Only one set is on the program at the start of 2014 and it will be the home of the Simpson family.

The release of this box sold exclusively in the LEGO Stores and on the LEGO Shop (It will therefore be a D2C set - Direct2Consumer) is scheduled for April 2014.

For the occasion, a special episode of the animated series (In the same format as the special LEGO Star Wars episodes The Padaan Menace, The Empire Strikes Out, etc.) will be released in May 2014.
